Good Lord the RM2's are out of stock again...didn't he just add 75 on Monday! Good for you Rob!

Considering I tried using my A7 again today after tweaking it with a new side air hole and realized I wasted my time cause it still sucks compared to a RM2 I can understand why their selling out! lol If work would ever get me home to get the new RM2's that are sitting there waiting on me I sure would be happy.

How many wraps do you usually wrap?

I used a 30a wire and some cotton wicks I got at walmart. I don't get enough kick and cloud.

But if I hold on to the button and vape it for like 10 - 15 seconds, I get a better amount of kick/clouds.

I think I have like....7 wraps? Don't remember. More wrap better or less wrap better?

Been looking at the RBA's for a while now for my Grand and before I pull the trigger I was wondering, what is the expected lifespan of the RM2 and is there any reason to purchase more than one?

Lifespan is kind of being explored! They have not been available too long. Robert did some upgrades and made it a durable RBA that is made to last.

More than one? Well, if you have more than one REO then you want one for each!!!

You might want a couple of RM2 screws in case you lose one. And maybe a extra o-ring for the same reason. The o-ring comes with it and goes on the bottom.

Thanks nerak. I have 5 Grands but only use one. I have the bad habit of buying one, using it for about 6 months, getting bored with the color and buying a new one. I have 4 sitting on my dresser as backups.......

Switch doors or buy new doors! A different Grand with a different flavor is great. The RM2 really lets you taste the flavors so well that it is tough to put down. Just you wait and see!!!

More wraps equals better surface area BUT more resistance, less power. Anything from 8 wraps+ should make a top notch micro coil, but you may want thicker wire to achieve the desired ohms. For example, I could grab some 28g kanthal and do 4 wraps to get 0.5-0.6 ohms or I can do what I'm doing right now, getting some 24g kanthal and doing a 11-12 wrap micro coil and achieve the same resistance while covering much more wick.

To me it sounds like your problem is the resistance. It's too high for your style hence you need to vape it for 10+ seconds. Jump down to 28g kanthal and try 8 wraps, I can almost guarantee you, it'll kick a hell of a lot harder.
