I have been looking around and haven't been able to find a difinitve answer. I am assuming that with the rba 2.0 on a Grand you have to use a 3.7v 18650 battery? Is it possible to use 6v if you keep the ohm's around 2.5-3.0?

yes.............
Since I cannot find a carto ohm meter available anywhere right now, is there a basic rule of thumb of how many wraps of wire will work on the RBA 2.0 without frying your mod? Does the number of wraps change with the different size gauge of wire? I am going to get a RBA but I do not want to fry it.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I saw a thread the other day where people had listed the wire gauge, number of wraps and what size diameter wrap and it gave the corresponding ohms, but for the life of me I cannot find it.

Since my RM2 is on its way, I have a question for the experts.....
I have been vaping at 6v with 3.0 ohm regular resistance cartos for almost 3 years now. I have stuck with 6v because of the huge throat hit, lung hit, outstanding flavor and much stronger nic hit versus 3.7v. My question is, if I wrap a 1.0-1.5ohm micro coil and use the 18650 battery, how does that compare to vaping at 6v? I am hoping the RM2 is a leap forward and not backwards.
6 volts with a 3 ohm carto is 12 watts....3.7 volts with a 1 ohm RDA build is 13.69 watts. So pretty similar heat output I would think. I have never vaped at 6 volts, but with the advent of rebuildables I have not had much push to try it.
Funny you say that. I use a wide mouth drip tip and always tilt my coil so it's higher above the juice hole. Good observations bro
