I would imagine, the same as what you like in your current RBA. My favorite so far is 30 ga kathal coil wrapped onto a toothpick, 7.5 loops (makes for 1.7 ohm). Fits a 3mm silica wick inside, or, as I prefer, some cotton ball or bamboo crochet thread.

Commie, this would be my first RBA so I don't have a favorite, or a clue what is best for a Reo Grand. The reading I have done previously has all be for Genesis style atomizers so I don't have much info yet on building for a Reo.

Hmm, well, in that case, my suggestion may have came off as arrogant, I apologize.

Your wick material and diameter will affect how fast it will draw juice, and how much juice it will hold. Silica is easy to learn on, since it doesn't burn. Cotton tastes better and wicks faster, but you have to be mindful of accidentally dry burning it. Stainless Steel is the most pain to set up, but you have experience with it.

For SS, you'll probably want a super low resistance coils, around or under 1 ohm. But you likely already know that. For silica or cotton, I'd suggest somewhere around 1.7-2 to start with.

Thicker resistance wire will respond slower, but will produce more vapor. 30 gauge is my favorite.

With cotton, it seems easier to coil the wire around a toothpick or drill bit to get it situated and then feed the wick through it. With SS and silica, it's easier to wrap coils around your wick.

Regardless of what you start with, you might want to try all kinds of different things until you find what you like. And absolutely positively meter between your posts before you fire it on a Reo. It'll save you a few shorts and a few springs.

Excellent news Rob, congrats! Do you think you'll have enough of them on hand to satisfy initial demand, or will it be an online RBA-ordering death match?
I will have enough most folks have rbas I dont see the site crashing on this one

You mentioned a special order for those looking for one to fit a Mini, should we contact you directly? Or would a note on the order once they're on the site be ok?
If you need one for a mini pm or email me . I have already made a few for the mini folks just encase
