Their all very similar in the fact that you wrap some wire around some silica/Cotton etc and hook one of the ends of the wires to each of the posts its really so silly how simple it is and cheap :D
Sent while Hyper Vapin a Trippy Tipped Reo

The process is simple but when eyes and one hands fail you over years the silly simple are not so simple. :(

Those are my sentiments, too, Gil...but the rba's are still worth the aggravation!

Oh Im a believer. Im using one now that I didn't have to setup and another to be delievered today. But for someone who use to fixing/replacing tiny components on laptop motherboards...these days the simple task of threading a sewing needle has become an issue. :(

Okay, it sounds like you have Gil hooked. I myself have been holding out and not even reading these RBA posts and threads.
Still.........if an old fart like Gil can do it, it might be worth a shot.
How long does the basic rebuildable atty itself last? Months? Years?
Be gentle--this is stretching my comfort zone.:)

Well 1 old fart to another I haven't tried build one yet and when I have to I'll be using pre-made coils so don't go by me. :) The one given to me was used and had a coil Im still using which works great and the one on the way comes with one I've been told so I don't see myself having to test myself for a while. I'll let you know when that happens. lol

Is the vaping experience better than a store-bought atty, Gil?
I think I'll wait at least until you build one of your own and then decide whether to venture forward into the unknown.:)

Yes and and no. Yes because the taste and vapor is way better and from what I can tell the draw doesn't tighten when it gets dirty nor does it seem to die. No because the draw may seem to light/easy for most....just my opinion. PM me Roger if you want to try the one that Rodney gave me. I'll have my new one soon and you can see if its for you and something you might like. :) No sense spending $$ if you can test run. :)

The draw can be adjusted to your liking in several ways, the simplest of which seems to be using a carto condom sleeve to partially block the air hole. I, for one, really have come to prefer an easier draw.

I too prefer a easier draw. I know i06s are suppposed to be as good as Ciscos but I really dislikes the tight draw they have. This reomizer is a tad bit airy compared to my Ciscos but Im fine with it. :)

As an old fartette I find building a coil so much easier than installing it onto posts. I can't express how important it is to have easy and reliable magnification and bright lighting. Good tweezers help a lot, too.

So true. I bought a 3 pack of light weight reading glasses at Costco, and stack them on until I can see.

Thanks again, Gil. Once again, I am humbled by your generosity. Then I began to look through my "possibles" drawer. I have at least 25 new LR 306 and 510 attys on hand. Didn't count the stragglers scattered in this nook or that, just the ones still in the 5-packs.
Now if I should try out the rebuildable atty and find it irresistable--what the hell ls going to happen to all these Chinese orphans in my drawer? I think its better that I don't know how great the RBA is at this time, don't you? I am pretty satisfied with them and I can catch up with the technology in ..........oh, say 6 months or .....maybe a year or so when my supplies are running down.
Who knows--maybe the technology will have taken still another leap further by then.:)
