No...Im pretty sure its the switch/button. Lately I have had to pressure it to the far on position to fire it and just to day it wouldn't fire at all. Rob will do his magic and when I get it back I'll put it away till Woodvils are out again and probably sell it. I never was much of a metalhead.

Anyone find the reomizer slightly airy? perhaps it's because I'm used to a 357.

Lots of people do! A easy fix is to cut the top off a cartos condom, a little strip and put it around the Reomizer and cover some of the air hole. You can easily move it to cover as much as you want. Works well!

Awesome. The cartos I have didn't come with condoms though. I got some small rubberbands though.

If you would like some carto condoms, send me your address and I will send you some. I have lots.

Thanks for the offer but I found some. I miswrote my last post. Of course my cartos came with them but I always throw drip tips on them right when I get them so most are tossed. Found a couple though. Works great. Thanks again for the tip.

Ok just read this whole thread and am now cross eyed:blink: I have never used a RBA before but I love to tinker just curious on wick and wire though should I just order a few different gauges to find my preference ? Thx

I think ordering a few gauges of wire is smart. There are so many variances in making a coil and they do vape differently. When you decide what you want to use then you can buy a roll on ebay pretty cheap.

Same with wicks. If you are not sure pick up a few different kinds at first.

A ohm meter I think is a must if you do decide to go with a RBA.

I have a ton of different wicks...bamboo thread, unbleached cotton embroidery thread, white thin yarn, I'd be glad to send you some of each.
And as karen says, an ohm meter is a must, to check the ohms on your built coil-wick setup. Then you can determine the different ohms that you prefer. Good luck!

I'd say it's very subjective. I got the best results with cotton balls, but they're very difficult to get consistent. My favorite so far is cotton yarn split into threads. As long as you coil your kanthal around the same drillbit/toothpick/needle, you can get the exact same resistance and diameter, and using the same number of threads of yarn, you get the same wicking.
