I am in the same boat 1 ohm is nice

I'll be honest...I was so concerned about my Grand not being "protected" when I first got it; especially while running such low ohms with my Reomizer.

Heck; it's more than protected! That little spring Rob puts in there is ingenious; it folds like a bed-sheet when exposed to a short! I completely TRUST my Grand, however I always test ohms before putting any RBA on my Grand; 1-1.3 is my sweet-spot too!

The grand is a safe mod I can assure you . There is no protection better then a spring in a mod electronics fail springs always do there job .

Having melted my first spring just a couple days ago, I'm here to say the system works flawlessly. I heard the little tap as the battery fell away from the connection and bonked the inside of the door, which instinctively led me to giving the Grand a quick shake - rattle rattle, that's a loose battery. Dangit!

Less than 30 seconds later a new spring was screwed in, battery replaced, and vaping merrily away again.

Is it natural for these RBAs to gobble up juice? Granted its way better than any atty but its using what seems to be more juice than normal. Maybe Im liking it so much Im using it more.:p

I also notice near double juice consumption (and no leaks) so I also attribute it to vaping so much more now!

I've noticed it as well. My theory is that some RBAs, including my reomizer, A7 and AGA produce a lot more vapor than a cartomizer, going through more juice.

With a carto on a VMod (haven't tried it on Reo in a while, but result should be similar), I go through about 2 ml in a day. With an AGA at 1 ohm, I fog up my whole house, and go through 3 ml in a duration of one movie

i believe that it taste so dingdong GOOD with an RBA that we're trying to make up for all the time, with atties, that it was just enough to keep us from the cigs...sorta like we didn't know what we were missing so we're trying to make up for it as quick as possible...just my:2c::laugh:

I agree I'm using more juice with the RBAs, too. Not sure why. Enjoying so much maybe, as OB says; don't care, either. For a real juice hog..... I'm testing DH's new Infinity Pro (testing for two weeks now - he's not ready for it till he breaks all the rest of his eGo Twist - won't be long) using his unused, left over Nova Stardusts (he moved up to Mini Novas as more sturdy) and I'm going through about 3 times as much juice as I do with the REOs and RBAs. (REO related..... my Buzz Pro, that I got while waiting, what seemed like forever, for the VVWs to be ready, and the Infinity Pro, are made by Notcigs, the maker of the chip used in REO VVs.)

This is definitely the case more usage and more vapor = A LOT MORE JUICE consumption :vapor:

Rob, I wasn't taking a shot at your products; I was praising the ingenuity of the spring. I don't think ya read down far enough. I don't want to piss off my "dealer" :)

I thnk RBA's in general run a little rich and consume a bit more juice, but I WASTE a whole lot less juice (ie-replacing half full/spent cartos, tanks leaking juice down my arm, or throwing away juice because of burnt cartos) I don't mind consuming a little more juice in my Reomizer bacause it delivers plumes of vapor and it delivers great taste!
