It's official. I'm totally sold on my reomizer! I was skeptical & critical of rba's in the beginning even with everyone buying & singing their praises but Im now vaping the very best I have ever have @5v with the reomizer on the VV Woodvil! Thank you Rob on the tweak of the Tesla.... and to Scott for the coil job.

Just thinking out loud here so bare with me:p I like the reomizer but I do find it a bit airy I have gotten used to it and love the flavour. I know it has been mentioned to reduce the side hole with carto condoms didn't care for that route. So here's my crazy thought what about reducing the inner diameter of a drip tip ?

I think I'm gonna experiment with this and report back:blink:

Anything you do will effect the vape even drip tips . A tiny piece of clear tape over the hole works great and you can barely see it

I was thinking more high tech fill with epoxy and drill out :D

Quigsworth suggested a while ago a simpler yet high-tech solution. Cut a strip from a beer can, shape it into a C rather than O, and fit it inside the atty. Now you can turn it and change the airflow, without desecrating the way your atty looks on the outside

Not touching the atty just the drip tip.

Besides size is there much difference between the Era 1.5 and the hornet ? Basically if I was going to be using on the VV or the 2.1 am I better off with the era ?

Some persons are going to have a preference for either the ERA or Hornet. Some person, like me, don't really have a preference for either other than size with the Hornet fitting our small REOs. I like both equally as far as vape goes and as far as building coil. There may be a noticeable difference depending on how one vapes. I take several short draws instead of the "far enders" who take really long draws. So heating up is never an issue for me.

Although I do like the better durability of the SS Hornet caps I do love that we can get the aluminum caps in colors that almost perfectly match our REOs. So far the only ERA that we can get in US is the SS, polished or torched (easily removed with polishing if wanted).

If I didn't already have both ERAs and Hornets that are suitable for all our REOs I would probably go for the Hornet as my first Budz RBA so it would fit any of our REOs. In the first US group buy of Hornets we were able to get extra anodized aluminum caps, sans the base. Hopefully some day Budz will make that available to us again. (I'm not holding my breath.)

One thing to keep in mind is that colored anodized aluminum Hornets are available for purchase from US retailer 310vaper but, so far, Budz Worx has not released the colored anodize aluminum ERA anywhere but locally in Philippines. The bases for all Hornets are the same, SS, so you can use SS or aluminum on any of the bases. With the ERA you have the choice only of SS polished or SS torched.

Also keep in mind that you might, some day, want to pick up a Mini REO that is pre Mini with bigger well. Or even a re-homed Woodvil. Only Hornet will fit those.

Yes if your just going to put the RBA on those 2 mods I'd go with the ERA I only bought the Hornet because the ERA doesn't fit the smaller Reos otherwise I'd only own the ERA JMO YMMV

Don't take my word as gospel but I have two ERA's and a Hornet. I like the ERA's slightly better. A tad easier to work with and seem to have a touch more flavour and vapor. Also my hornet is one of the colored aluminum ones and gets really hot really fast where the ERA's stay a little cooler.

what he said^^^^^^^^^^^:)

How much was shipping? I am tempted to try ordering from there as well.

Shipping was high at around 45 but as they were initially cheaper I am hopeing it balances out. I am more curious to see if I get that surprise shipping cost when it's delivered I am so tired of ordering things paying for shipping and then getting an additional charge.
