Got some pics comparing Robs rba and the ERA. They vape the same, I kept my eyes closed and had the same drip tip and juice in both mods. Mixed them up and kept my eyes closed as I vaped them. I could not tell the difference at all. It has the perfect draw for my liking. All in all this is a great vape and I look forward to getting more of them.

So I guess unless you have multiple devices, why would you ever need more than one of Rob's RBAs? If it is entirely rebuildable, all you should ever need is more coils/wicks, correct? I only have one device (a Reos Grand) and never thought I would need another, these things just work so reliably.

I guess a spare would make a lot of sense in case I loose the one I have or somehow (?) I break something inside and need to send it off for repairs!

Hahaha...anyone want to trade an new olive drab, powder coated Silver Bullet for a Reo Grand so I have a backup?

Jeff, I am hoping that your meticulous nature will ensure that you learn everything about this RBA that needs to be known. I'll be driving over to your pizza shop soon after that and looking forward to eating pizza and learning the ropes of the REO rebuildable atty. Please don't fail me.:)

I'm getting 13.9mm dia on Robs.

Thank you. It looked a little bit narrower in the photos. I was hoping it might have been. I have a bottom feeder with a tapered drip well. I would need a 12mm RBA to fit it. Having to run my ERA on it with a shorty adapter and I hate adapters with an unholy passion.

I hear you there. I disassembled all my adapters so that I would have some spare gaskets laying around.
I have to say, this thing vapes great. Nice and short, vapes just as good as my much more expensive RBA's that I have around.

Thanks for the info. To determine the actual ohm rating of how many coils or wraps you do, should you just use a multi-meter and measure it? If that's true, it's kinda like a redneck way of getting VV on a regular Reo Grande :)

With some practice, with a given gauge wire and number of wraps, you'll make coils in a pretty consistent ohm range. But I would recommend one of these (or a multi-meter, but I find this gizmo simpler), since it will also tell you if you have a short:

This is exactly right I own a VVG and a VVW so I don't even bother checking the ohms any plus once you do a few you'll see that the come out pretty consistent after awhile :D
You got one already, huh? TEACHER'S PET, TEACHER'S PET!!!

Robert I was wondering if you know the size of the screws used on your atomizer. I would love to be able to find and order some online. Just as back-ups in case one is lost.[/

I would like to know also. Previous mistakes have caused me to lose screws. Can't use a RBA without 2 screws.

Without having to look thru all the different post and threads....is there a way to control airflow and how easy it to do?
Hello Gil there is no air flow control built into the atomizer . If the draw is to tight you could make the hole larger easy enough with a larger drill bit or a file
