I have a silicone sleeve for every 18650 I own. If a battery is not in the charger or a mod it is in it's sleeve. If that battery shares a pocket with the mod the mod is also in a silicone or faux leather case. The silicone sleeves cost about a dollar each on fasttech.

I wish there were more choices of 2 cell mods wired in paralell. My plan was to carry one of those on all day field trips instead of a spare battery. The one I know about that's available is not quite what I'm looking for.

I see what you did...

Yes he should have been warned by the seller, but the same could have happened with a Duracell alkaline AA.

What the :censored:?
Warned? He should be locked up to keep us safe from his stupidity .

Has society become so stupid and lazy that grown adults roll around on autopilot?

Any adult that doesn't know that any loose battery in your pocket is asking for trouble should be ashamed of themselves, and should stay off the street.

Astronomical level of stupidity.

It's Darwin thinning the heard of the dangerously dumb.

Sadly, common sense is anything but common :(

No argument on the stupidity of the user (I refuse to call him a victim)

I partially blame the extremely weak educational system we have today.

Partially, but I put more blame on the parent who leaves a child's education totally up to the system.

And the "it's always someone else's fault" mentality.

The victim mentality, gotta love it
