I'm hoping for any feedback from customers who have dealt with the online store 'Vapes Canada' in Kelowna, British Columbia.
Vapes Canada has something I want that's rare here in Canada and their price is the best, so I just want to be sure I'm dealing with a reliable online store.

I normally shop at B&M stores and I know you pay more, but I prefer to handle the items and get a feel for quality and dimensions before I purchase. I'm also in Ontario and we don't have as many choices available as US residents, but IMO its not worth the additional hassle to order from US unless there's no other choice for the desired item.

Hi Mortis e =)

Welcome to the Forums!

I am not Canadian and have not purchased anything from Vapes Canada. I do know that our members purchase from stores all over the world with some success.

I have an idea. Try buying something small from them and see how they do. If they fail that, you know that you probably won't have a great experience and you won't be out enough money to sweat over.

What is it you are looking to buy? Some US web sites ship via USPS; which I understand is easier and cheaper if you are in Canada.

I much appreciate your help Bassnorma, thank you :thumb:

I suppose I could try a small purchase from them but there's nothing else I want from them so even if it arrived safely, the item + shipping would still be somewhat wasted money, plus a follow-up order would double my wait time.

Perhaps I'm being a bit nit-picky here and I was hoping the feedback would solve my concerns, but so far that feedback isn't happening.

I was interested in ordering the new Emow Mega, mainly because I really like the power and dimensions of the included 1600 mah battery. Its a very short 105mm x 19mm and would match up perfectly with my nautilus Mini.

I'm also very interested in the even newer Ipow2 1600 battery which is quite sophisticated for an ego battery. I particularly like the length of 110mm and it has a detachable ego/510 thread adapter which reveals a flat and flush 510 thread underneath. That's an even better match to my Mini topper.

Sweet Vapes has both option. If I order from US, can you or anyone else tell about the international service from Sweet Vapes?

Cool, Are you allowed to roam the forums yet? IOW, post elsewhere? If so, there is a forum dedicated to our vapers to the North... Canada Forum

As to Sweet Vapes...all I know is this, http://sweet-vapes.com/shipping-info/

Thanks again Bassnorma for your enthusiasm to help :toast:
Yes I can roam/post almost anywhere on ECF. Perhaps you have forgotten that anyone with more than 5 posts can do that.

Sorry for not making myself clear; I wasn't asking about Sweet Vapes' policy on international shipping, rather I meant - how well have they performed with shipping, but I understand that you personally have not dealt with them.

Moved your thread to the Canada Forum, will have more localized replies :)

Thank you classwife for trying to help with localized replies. I had already been to the Canada Forum before posting this thread in New Members, but there is not much activity in the Canada Forum, whereas there is a massive amount of international activity from all levels of vapers on the New Members forum.

None the less, I look forward to any feedback here from Canadians about either 'Vapes Canada' in BC or 'Sweet Vapes' in the US.

Thanks folks!

No problem Bassnorma. You're still a sweetheart for all your help ;)

Just took a look at their site and yuck , the prices are super inflated !! I wouldn't shop with them .

What item do they have that is rare that you want ?

Yeah some of their prices are high, and some on par with the better I've seen. I say rare because its still very new. I'm interested in the Emow Mega, and they look to be the only place that has it in Canada, and so not much price comparison but their price seems about what I would expect to pay in Canada.

Edit: I did find one other online store that carries it here and it was about $10 more than Vapes Canada

I make a mock order if I want to buy something from a US vendor. I just slap letters in to get me to the shipping page, some are very reasonable with shipping costs to Canada but others will knock you out of your chair. There are some that will put things like essential oils on the package to help with customs if you ask them. I've had good success with my US vendor orders crossing the border. I like when the dollar is close to par makes the shiny tubes I order shine a bit brighter. :)

Thank you AlterUrEgo for your vote of support on orders from the US, and you look to have some wise methods for ordering gear.

Canvape is a ecf forum supplier and probably the biggest online vendor in Canada has the EMOW mega. I don't think the have the IPOW2 yet, but they are in Ontario so shipping will be fast.

Thank you for that link LesVegas. I must have missed that site while searching. Their prices look very good, and yeah, shipping should be quick in my own province.

I will definitely keep Canvape in mind on my next orders, however I found out only yesterday that my closest B&M just got in the Emow Mega and spare Evod 1600 mah batts, so I picked both up yesterday. They are MoJo Vapes in Peterborough Ontario and they have the best prices for a B&M shop but not as good as Canvapes.

Thanks again guys for your help :thumb:

Here's my new Emow Mega kit next to two other setups to indicate scale:

And here's my Nautilus Mini on the Evod VV 1600 batt, again with the other two setups for scale. I'm really liking these new short and fat batteries
