I'm PROBABLY going to get my first step-up unit, like a Vamo or ZMax, but I was diddling around on fasttech and saw these.
Any info?

GS SUB weird little yellow thingy

A Lavatube - heard of em of course, but how's this particular one compare with a Vamo?

SVD - same question. How would you compare this to Vamo, and is there a better package/source?

iMax - huh? Looks like a Vamo knockoff, but it costs more? What's the deal with that?

Thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to help me shop. lol. :D:D

I have the vamo and the sigelei zmax v3 and they fire/function exactly the same iv actually tested this. And they use the same chip board so it makes sense. The sigelei has a much better build quality and cosmetic appeal. I strongly expect my sigelei to outlive my vamo. If u have the extra bucks to spare id get the sigelei zmax v3 telescope flat top.

The svd is also spoken very highly of here. I dont own one so I cant comment on it.

Just a thread on the sigelei

stainless steel vamo or zmax, those should be the 2 options. the thing that makes the vamo so appealing tho is u can get a great package through fasttech on either the v2 $51.96 Vamo-Vivi Stainless Steel Voltage Adjustable E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping or the v3 $58.85 Vamo V3 Stainless Steel Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 EU battery charger / 2*Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

the nitecore is a great charger and the panasonic cgr batteries are prolly the best u can use on a vv/vw device, and u get 2 18650s so ull always have one nice and charged up.

cheers

The SVD is actually on its 3rd revision, they just don't label it that way. First there was the button mix up, then the 2 tubes for all 3 18mm batteries, and now just 1 tube. I was rather impressed with the build quality, all stainless steel, and the 3 buttons for menu navigation. As far as a Superior Vaping Device? I don't know, but here is a great SVD article that not only give a ton of information, but also a full list of instructions!
