This is my first post, so I hope it comes across correctly.

I've been an e-cig user for a couple of years now. I've tried rba's, tanks, etc. Honestly, no matter how I try or what I buy, I can never get a good or even decent hit from an rba I assembled. I've used silica and cotton wicks, as well as round and flat kanthal wire. Still, the lack of a decent hit is likely my fault since everyone on Youtube blows plumes of smoke using RBAs.

Since my inception to smoking e-cigs, I have used a provari with a dripping atomizer exclusively. The attys can be pricey because at times I'll receive bunk ones, but the hits don't compare to anything else I've tried when the attys are working properly.

Still, I've tried several dripping atomizers, the best I've found are Cisco atomizers. However, someone told me about a 510 dripping atomizer that begins with an 'S' that is supposedly awesome . . . but I can't find the name of it. Any suggestions?

I've also tried tried joytech, altsmoke v2.2, and boge atomizers. So far, Ciscos are the best but still lack consistency. Any advice on the drippers or on my RBA troubles would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome. I use mostly RBA but I have a few RDAS as well. One I prefer is the big dripper. It's a automatic dripper. You pump the drip tip and the tank supplies the liquid to your build. It works very well. However, if your a new builder it might be a challenge to build being a dual coil .also the placement of the coils need to be next to the air holes of the deck. Deck is a bit tight. But it gives a great vapor and flavor and the tank allows you to not have to constantly drip, just press the drip tip. Also most drip tips fit. As far as a RBA, I have quite a collection! Some of my favorites are the Billow, the Russian 91%, the Taifun, big buddaha, the lemo, the expromizer, the orchid, the rose v2, the Aqua, and the new squape (white package) the fogger, and the kayfun4. Hope this helps. Best wishes

Might you be referring to the Stingray? Stingray 510 Dripping Atomizers They're decent enough (though I know lovers of them), but I would sooner recommend Empire Mods 510s or just to stick with Cisco Spec attys.

I am an RDA user, but my love will always be 510 attys (I still use them daily -- mostly CS atties). You do not need an RDA, RTA or any other rebuildable to enjoy vaping, but eventually it will behoove you to at least be able to get a decent-enough build on one (and then hopefully you can get good at it). But once again, you are more than fine with trusty 510s.

p.s. About the "trusty" part of the 510s. If you get a bunk one, most of the sites you buy from will accept your request for a new one if you got a dud. Sometimes you will have to send it back or sometimes you will get it replaced for free. Most of the times (and I've had to do this a few times) I've gotten mine replaced for free -- but you will have to alert the site early.

The Stingray is correct! I haven't tried them, but the reviews on some of the Ciscos say that Stingrays are awesome or even 'better' (I realize that personal preference is a big theme in e-cig smoking however - I've tried 5 star atomizers only to be extremely disappointed). Having said that, the Cisco, when it works, is awesome. But thank you for reminding me that the name was "Stingray".

Thanks for the heads-up on returning bunk atomizers. When I see sites say that atomizers are DOA, I assume that means no returns. I will keep in mind letting the vendor know as soon as I realize I have a bunk. One trouble though is that I smoke mainly one or two flavors, mainly Blue Honey when it is available. So I usually go through one atomizer at a time . . . by the time I get to number 2 or 3 of the batch I ordered and it doesn't work, it could be weeks from the day I made the original order.

Thank you all for the quick responses. Much appreciated!

Great! I was hoping that was it. I couldn't think of another "S" 510 atty. [For others, Bogie is talking about 510 'disposable' attys, not RDAs/RBAs.]

I used to buy so many at a time that there was no way I could ever notify anyone of anything other than me saying, "I got a bunch of atties." There was no way I could try 40 within a day or two (or even a week).

Anyway, I see you are correct though about the Stingrays at least. They say no returns/exchanges/warranties. Avidvaper has always taken care of me though if one is bad. I just use the ticket system.

Have you tried EmpireMods 510 atties? Keith at EM has always honored my money and stood by his product.

Anyway, see you in that little thread. It was really awesome that the awesome poster started such an awesome thread. J/K ::laugh:
