I must admit, after a year of being "stinky" free, that there are times when I smell a cigarette and am tempted to smoke it. Then, I look at the ashtray. That seems to kill it for me...

Yeah; the last ten years of smoking for me had its moments of looking at my ashcan and thinking to myself 'what the @#$% am i doing?'

Absofrigginlutely!!! After having quit for three days, I couldn't stand the smell of them. I never wanted to be "That ex-smoker" but I just can't handle the smell of them. I don't preach to the people that still smoke, I just try to stand upwind or remove myself from the area with some sort of excuse. It's not because I don't approve of what they are doing, it's because I can't stand the smell anymore! Is that bad?

I didn't have to fill 'em, charge 'em, wash 'em, change the inner parts, blow 'em out when flooded or keep 'em in place where they wouldn't roll away. I would light up .... sit back ..... puff ..... talk and 50% might burn up all on it's own - if it didn't go out from the chemicals they put in 'em nowadays. Smoking was easier in some ways, but I was beginning to wheeze, cough, toss nasty stuff when I spit and I did smell nasty no matter how I denied it; so I do in many ways I "like" vaping more than smoking. Were smoking as pleasant smelling as vaping and didn't have the horrors attached .... I might go with 'em again; but it ain't gonna happen in our lifetimes. I vote for vaping.

No, I'd rather smoke. If it wasn't stopping me from breathing, and killing me, and stinking me up, and costing a fortune. But I'd still rather smoke if I could. I already know I'm going to hell, and nobody vapes in hell, it just ain't cool. Everybody smokes there. Smoking a cigarette looks cool and has a romantic dangerousness about it; vaping always looks ridiculous no matter how much we fool ourselves. 8 months now and I will never go back to smoking and I enjoy vaping very much, so be aware of that before setting your phasers on "flame." :2c: :)

Wow, when was smoking ever cool? Really? Smoking was never "cool" Marketing had to advertise it that way to cover up the fact that the act of smoking is so very Uncool. They employed Jedi mind tricks on the weak minded to make them perceive that it looked cool.

Oh yeah. Main reason why I do it. Taste better, smells better, and honestly looks "cooler" then smoking. Plus being able to switch up my flavor and change up how my vape is produced makes it even more awesome

Well I must say, I do have some very kewl gear, and a great assortment of excellent flavors, and even have had non smokers want to try a vape, that never happened when I smoked.

Yup,

Comparing vaping to smoking is like comparing apples to toilet bowls.

Vaping and apples tastes much better.

Like apple much better also. Even vape some Miss American Pie. Great apple taste.

No. Minute by minute, without considering the long term health effects, the lingering odor, and the yellow stuff that builds up on the walls, I would much prefer a real cigarette.

Thanks for asking.

Feel bad that you haven't found satisfying gear.

You seem to forget the dumping of ash trays, the occasional fire that has to be put out, the cleaning up of spilt butts, ashes, and ruined clothes, upholstery, all chores of smoking.

I prefer vaping to cigarettes. Love all the flavors and the cleanliness of vaping, it doesn't make my chest feel heavy afterwards. No more wheezing and coughing.

Yeah, dares dat too. I was at the point that every smoke I lit up hurt like hell, but I kept doing it. Vape just offers more flavor, vape and satisfaction than cigarettes could ever supply. For those that like smoking better, I feel that quite possibly it is from using inferior vape gear.

When I started vaping, I kept having this something was missing feeling. In my search for more satisfaction I went from cig-a-likes to ego's & protanks, to regulated mods then an rba, re-buildable atomizer. Through builds and upping the watts and level of my vape, I found total vape satisfaction. I then dived into DIY juice mixing. Now that I was competent at building I tried a mechanical.

Today I have several regulated mods and a few mechanical mods a well. Each topped with an rba and different flavor juice. I love all things vape. Also awaiting delivery of a DNA30 and a SuperMax mod. I may have gone a bit vape crazy, but the funds I haven't spent on smoking and the increased health and mental benefits vastly outweigh the investments I've made. Feel that money spent on Quality Vape gear is the most wisely invested money I have ever spent.
