I guess bad things happen in threes. I have two mods at robs shop. This is a borrowed reo grand that I am using and now have to fix. This tiny piece came off. Everyone should recognize it as the piece that extends down on the left side of their reo mini or reo grande. It looks like it broke off kinda jaggedity. I tried screwing it back on somehow and it just wouldn't. Does anyone know what this piece is called? please tell me it can be picked up at a hardware store or i'm probably guessing it a special size and huge batch was ordered by rob or made by him? If so what's it called I guess so I can order it. I can not afford to order the whole new "repair kit" kit for 23 bucks.I just need this one piece.

I was the biggest reo fan for years and years. Personally spent over 1k with them and recommended them to many many people but things really seem out of hand nowadays on prices for some things. I don't know. I wish he would build a reward system or something to give back to customers who helped build this im sure multi million dollar company. He deserves it. He built a great product. Extremely innovative at the time and spent the money and the risk. But, things seem to be getting out of hand I bought a rba 2.0 this week why are these rbas so expensive? they seem like a cheap part for 2-6 bucks with a hole drilled in the side and bottom and then all of a sudden it's 43 plus shipping? yes I know there is a cheaper one that he has now but 35 is still alot of money. I didn't think it was that much cheaper and worth the risk to have a metal bottom.

I got off track. I do need some help on this piece. Reos can charge what they want. Their choice. I just wish they would do some better things for their established customers.

Any advice on fixing this piece would be greatly appreciated. [/FONT]

I don't know how you tried to screw this piece on. If it's the piece that the feed tube goes on and holds the firing pin on. I suggest doing like the mod repair video on the site. Put the end of the feed tube on it turn it until its tight and then use pliers and a screwdriver to make it tighter, just don't over do it and mess up the insulator. The piece is the center post, insulator and washer, Very cheap I ordered a few extras with my last order, sorry I don't remember the exact cost. Likely the shipping will be more than the parts. I can very well see your frustration because you broke your borrowed REO.

But to verbally be so negative towards Robert and his company is uncalled for in my eyes.

A lot of what you have said is just plain wrong. By that I mean not true at all.

I have been around REO's for just shy of three years. I have been on this forum almost every single day. I have seen the way Robert does business and watched it grow by leaps and bounds. However he is still available and treating his customers, which he calls friends, above and beyond any customer service I have experienced. I am a loyal established customer and have personally experienced Robert "doing better things" many times.

Sometimes aggravation can cloud our eyes and our judgement. Maybe this is so in your case.

About your broken piece. I see Robert has offered to sell you just what you need.

Please watch the re-build video so you know how to restore your borrowed REO. Then maybe a little reading on some of the threads here so you can spot anything that might cause problems in the future.

Good luck!

Then you have not shopped for BF RBAs lately. Divo $70, Cyclone $65, Hornet/ERA $70. You could buy the same RBA as Rob for $10, Then you'll need to:

Drill a hole straight up the center pin.
Cut channel in the metal plate that connects the center pin on the 510 connector to the positive post.
Cut a channel in the ceramic cup
cut/mill the base to make it skinny enough to fit into the catch cup
cut the high lip around the deck lower.
drill an air hole

Then add inbound shipping, cost of tools, electricity, rent, insurance, maintenance, supplies, paypal fees, etc.,

I have the ability to do this myself, it wouldn't be as pretty. I choose not to because the price he charges is a bargain.

Flex, bro, between motorcycles, ATV's, lawn equipment and cars I have spent several hundred thousand of our hard earned cash with Honda over the last 17 years.

I get nothing from them. Zero. No breaks, no free service, no discounts.

But I continue to buy them cause they always work. If there is a problem, they always fix it. No BS.

I think of Rob like a small scale Honda corp. Affordable high quality products that he stands behind 100%.

Sometimes things go wrong but he makes em right.

That's what separates him from the rest. Not only are his mods kick AYuss, he's always got your back and always accessible.

I know you just wanna get back to your world class vape bro and I feel for ya. Hang in there :)

Didnt mean to come across that negative. I didnt say anything that bad except i may not refer future business . Try not vaping for a few days and see if get frustrated in general lol

Noone a bigger fanboy of reos than myself. Everyone who i talk with about electronic cigarettes i tell the newbies to be an ego and then go to reos-mods for all the reasons we love about. The reliabilty- durability- the beauty in its simplicity in some models and the beauty in making something complex look simple in others, for the flavor, for being a mainstay that has continued to innovate-

The only thing i would like to see is a reward system of something - spend 500 bucks and get 40 off purchase of next mod. I don't know - he can run it how he likes and like i said in my original post he deserves each and every benefit or spoil for his hardwork. He not buying chinese stuff. He innovated and continues to be involved in his company.

I voiced my frustration on some of the pricing on parts. Hey im entitled. I guess if you drive a porsche parts for it are expensive - the reo being the porsche .

I love my reos mods, they the only ones i use, and will probably to continue to use and buy more. I have stuck and stayed - i went thru my growing pains like alot of the early adapters spending n spending n spending on different kits and crap. When i found reo. It was different it was quality and thats why i have stayed and recommended them.

Rob if take another peak at this thread - consider a reward system/ customer loyalty system. It feels good to the customer even if it is not much

Yay - i hope i get my part !

Maybe he not a kazillionaire cause ya got a ....ty camera for the videos ! Lol

But like i said in beginning rob deserves it. Made it and works hard. And i stated that from beginning.

Maybe I haven't been out there much, but I don't know of any hardware vendor who has a "reward" system. I think Rob's product is fairly priced, and I have no problem paying for the quality that I get. My "reward" is the incredible vape I get, above all others.

I think that Rob deserves every bit of the money he charges. I don't need any rewards from him to recommend him or to continue to buy from him. And even if I never bought another thing from Rob, I know he would be there to help me out if I had any problems with the REO's I do have. That's another "reward" that I get from supporting Rob's business.

Wow .............

As far as I'm concerned Rob has the best customer loyalty program there is. His service is awesome his prices are cheap and he will answer the phone and talk to you almost any time.

I for one am 100% loyal and all those thing are worth much more than money in my book.

Plus handling a loyalty program or even setting up an automated one is a PIA and considering you a 1.5 man show over there I fear it would cut into your productivity and prices might rise as a result. And really all loyalty programs do is screw over first time customers ..... that is not fair and I know that is not how Rob rolls.

BTW, I'm going to need a couple more of those 2 or 6 buck attys with a couple holes drilled in them.

As a loyalty program because you have so loyal to all of us I would like you to bill me 50 dollars each please.
You can take that extra 14 dollars in profit and add it to the maybe 20 bucks you would make off of two .....
Then you can take the whole 34 dollar and stash it in the trunk of your Ferrari parked in the underground garage at REO's corporate headquarters. That is where you stash your millions to hide it from the IRS .... correct ??

Some folks just don't get it. If you've spent over 1 k on his mods why don't you have back ups. Why wait till you have to barrow one while your other two are at the Spa. Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance, I didn't care for the way you talked about Rob either but gave the advice you were seeking and even gave you the part name. I didn't even get a like from you. I think you're a little on the ungrateful side. I shall leave this thread before I say things that I shouldn't. Even after this I hope you get everything straightened out and can get back to happy vaping. Good luck flexsr.

Provari Green or Blue LED screen: $15 extra. Is there a blue and green LED shortage that I am unaware of?
Provape could literally put a color changing 2 digit LED screen in the their Provari's for the same price as a 1 color.
What labor is added to the process of putting a green or blue LED into their product rather than a red LED?

Provari Colored Paint: $20 extra. This is more understandable, considering it takes labor time to paint them.

Provari Extension Cap: $20 extra. No, this is not included in the $160-$180 price tag. Sorry.

Provape Black Delrin Drip Tip: $4.95 (LOL this one is just too funny) A 1 dollar drip tip anywhere else.
