I realised something pretty interesting the other day. I am one of those people who are prone to falling ill. I used to fall ill every other week... sniffles, coughs, temperatures... the lot basically.

I was thinking to myself the other day that ever since I've starting vaping, all that crap has basically gone. I get the occasional blocked nose but after having my daily vape, that also clears off.

Anyone else who is prone to falling ill with me on this one? To those who fall ill quite a lot, what's your experience like?

When I was smoking I would ALWAYS get bronchitis/respiratory issues during the winter. Since switching to vaping, this past winter was the first time in years I didn't get sick. Even when my son and husband caught some kind of bug a few weeks ago, I didn't catch it. Usually when they get better I get sick, but not this time.

Ive noticed that that my yearly bouts of bronchitis/pneumonia are non-existent and that my allergies and colds are not as severe.

Lucky you, my allergies are way worse this year but for the first time in decades I didn't get sick this winter. To be fair, it seems like a lot of people around here are having worse problems with hayfever this time around and probably nothing to do with vaping. Something to look forward to next year. :D

My sinuses haven't cleared up to my liking. Then again my bedroom isn't totally insulated. My old migraines are gone and total blockage of my nasal passages is cleared. I'm still trying to figure out what is causing the current continued blockage. I blow and no clearing. Could be I'm a mile high and need to "pop" my sinuses somehow... Can't be in a hot shower more that 15 minutes, that's very wasteful...

You can boil water and place the pot on the table. Make a tent with a towel over your head and inhale away. You can even dissolve some vick's vapor rub in it if you want. Beats being in the shower every 30 minutes and looking like a prune. LOL.

After 2 years of vaping, I can breathe throughout the night and sleep like a baby. Sometimes I do get clogged up but a quick squirt of nasal spray takes care of it in a hurry.

I've noticed this same effect too. I would be prone to having several mild/moderate colds and upper respiratory infections per year but this has decreased dramatically (to near-zero) since the vaporizer entered my life. Propylene glycol is a known, tested and confirmed bactericide and I attribute it mostly to its action on any microbes that would have normally invaded my throat but never had the chance to cultivate. I don't have access to the full article here and can't post any links yet but there is a paper dated 1942 when its germ-killing properties were first discovered so this is VERY old news. Google 'propylene glycol bactericide' and you should come up with the abstracts.

I really haven't thought about it, but yea, I think my occasional "woes" haven't hit me as much. Acid reflux has went down, and I haven't gotten sick in a while... ARGH.. another bad Ecig effect to add to the list.... No more sick days!!!.. :) I might have to call in a few just to keep up with the others. :) nice day... <fake cough> I think I'm coming down with something.
