Yes, I usually vape PS 36mg 555 during the day and PS 11mg 555 at night. I have tried the 11mg. I also have several bottles of Drew's HV in various flavors that I have tried. Hasn't helped yet.
Actually I love it at 4.2v on the Protege with a fresh batt. Wish I could add some resistance to bring the PT down a notch.
I have the old PT and I have added a .47 ohm 2 watt resistor to bring it down a bit. Now its just a bit punchier than the Prodigy at 3.7 volts.
I just cut the red wire, soldered in the resistor, taped it up and stuffed it all back in the tube. It's just right for me now. I don't know if there is room to do the same with the new version.
Posted in another thread but I would like to see how your new PT looks since the pic on the Puresmoker are of the Old PT.
Thanks
Well, burnt taste with PT problem solved!
First, I went back to using my PTB mod ( a mod of the RHO mod). It gives a more continuous flow of liquid to the atty. When dripping you can get dry quickly at 5v or over do it sometimes and flood. Boiling e-liquid is not good.
Second, I started using my finger to check the temp at the base of the atty. Too hot and you have to let it cool off first. Patience is not my most abundant virtue.
Now I'm getting 3 or 4 consecutive 5-7 second hits, even a few good primer puffs, then a long drag. Great flavor, great hit, from a great PV!
Now if I can just learn to put it down so I don't go into nic overload! Self control is not my most abundant virtue either![]()
IM39 - Pretty sure you need a usb adapter that outputs 1000mA (1 amp)
I might go for a little higher amperage. I have a 1a ac adapter that struggles and trips sometimes. I also have tripped a Kensington power pack. I use a Kensington power pack but run the charger on it while vaping. 1 amp may be a little low sometimes. I have seen the higher wattage DCD adapters but can't find the link right now. But, if it's cheap and easy to get then go for it and see if it works.

Just real quick what do you guys think of this thing for use with a PT as a USB to all adapter/ power pack...been kinda eyeballing it for a couple of days now as far as a possible option for running dual PTs in the car..just wanna have everything all lined up before ordering the PTs..Got my 510 passthrough today along with the same rocking USB wall plug (USB Dual Power Adapter thanks Markarich159!). ...

Anyway here it is.. ZAGG | ZAGGsparq | 4 full iPhone charges, mobile battery, device charger, cellphone charger, portable battery pack, 6000 mAh lithium polymer battery, USB x2 at 1000 mAh output, AC 100-240 v/50/60 Hz ...thoughts on whether it would work well..
some of the stats..
- 6,000 mAh Lithium Polymer
- Has the power to charge an iPhone up to four times
- 4 yellow lights indicate power level, 25%-50%-75%-100%
- Has the ability to charge multiple USB devices simultaneously
- Fixed output: 2x 1000mA @ 5V
- Power Source: AC 100-240 v/50/60 Hz
- Physical Size 3.5 x 3.5 x 1 inches
- Weight .54 lbs.
Right, it is a little pricey..but i was looking at it more compared to some of the other portable power packs like the kensingtons combined with the aforementioned wall adapter.. it just sounded like it would be super versatile for our needs..Looks nice and um...expensive! I'd wonder about the output "2x 1000mA @ 5v." I think you're better off with at least 1.5mA. The one found by Markarich159 pushes 2amps if you're only using one of the ports. Wonder it this will do the same or if it's limited to 1amp.
I ordered this adapter from Cignot, but it didn't work.IM39 - Pretty sure you need a usb adapter that outputs 1000mA (1 amp) the nice ladies @ cignot sell just what you need $5.00
