Don't have the Apple Jacks yet, but the Captain Crunch is pretty spot on, but it does need to age (or steep) for a few days. It's a strong flavor and cereal flavors need a bit of time to really work their way into the juice. Give it 3-5 days and come back to them both. Keep them in a dark cool (but not cold) place like a cabinet. Shake them for about 30 seconds once a day and then let some air in (cap off, squeeze the bottle a few times, cap back on - wait).

Smaller bottles to purchase would be great to see, hopefully they will go that route. I have to try the skittles, but wouldn't want to pay $55.00 for 16 oz. Not just yet anyways. Has anyone received skittles as a sample? Review?

They must be still out of skittles. At least two of us requested it and didn't get it, myself included. I got sweet tarts instead. Smells great. Will report back with flavor notes.

I'm hoping to be able to try both Skittles and Sweet Tart soon enough; not sure if Skittles made their way in, but come tomorrow I should know for sure. I've been trying to find a decent sweet tart for quite some time now, so I'm hoping it delivers. I've had horrible experiences with pretty much all that I've tried (they just don't taste like they smell), but given the success of the flavors I've received thus far, I'm keeping my hopes high!

I'm more inclined to say that the odd-ball flavors, like skittles probably sell out much faster because not too many vendors carry them, but hopefully they'll be able to keep more and more in-stock since business is picking up and the demand is increasing!

Wanted to chime in. I got free samples of gummi bears and fruit loops, just as I had requested. Mixed up both in 80% 16mg VG at 8% flavor, 12% DW.

Fruit loops is great but still a little weak. Once I get a flavor percentage nailed down itll be a winner.

Same results with gummi bear. However, caveat, its very cloudy which means its likely a triacetin based extraction. It cracked a plastic nova tank on me in about three minutes. Please be aware of this when using it. Metal or glass only folks. It does have a remarkably good throat hit to it also. unexpected, from a flavoring, but in a good way.

EDIT: Fruit loops is also a tank cracker... just picked up my cobra rba, tank crushed in my hand.

How long did you let it age?

Well about as long as most of my juice ages... 4 minutes, what ever doesn't fit into the tank makes it till the next day.. lol
But a tank lasts me over a day actually, so i get to taste all the stages of steep

I've kept up with this thread, but I'm not sure if I missed a post saying this, but here you go anyway:

It seems that all the flavors that are available in their sample packs (4 10ml bottles for $15), are now available by themselves in smaller bottles as well. 10ml and 30ml bottles.

Along with some flavors that aren't in the sample packs as well. Seems to be an awesome step in the right direction. :)

Yep - A number of the flavors are now available in smaller 10ml bottles :). About 40-50 of them are available right now and if all goes well, Mike said more will be available. Right now they're testing the market on the smaller bottles since they were originally more of a vendor to vendor company, but he's open to catering to the DIY users like us.

As for Apple Jacks, I received my sample and it smells more like an apple cider/juice. I've not vaped it yet as I'm letting the 5ml sample age right now, but I have a feeling it's going to be more of a cider-like juice over cereal. That's my initial eval.

I sent an e-mail over to Mike this morning to see if he can provide more info on the flavor. It smells great, to me, but it's not what I was expecting from the name. AP may add some depth to the flavor, though if it vapes like a cider, it may completely kill the flavor. I don't have any on-hand unfortunately, otherwise I'd give it a go since it's been sitting for 24 hours now.

I get the same thing from Apple Jacks Tactical. It's missing that cereal backbone that I've tasted in other AJ juices I've had. Some AP might remedy that but I haven't tried it out yet.

Hmm, $14.99 for a sample pack of 4 10ml bottles, or, $3.49 for 1 10ml bottle. Four individual 10ml bottles = $13.96. Odd :)

I'll mention that in a follow-up :). He and I are going back and forth on Rice Krispies right now, as I submitted a few issues I had with the flavor and aging. Just got a sample of the "new" version and I'm testing it out and so far, I hope they trade out the old with the new as it's much better and has zero aftertaste.

The new version I'm testing now has more of a sweet caramel/vanilla flavor to it in a way, which I feel better represents the flavor. Not sure if it'll stay or if this was just done for me, but I hope it's a keeper. The other wasn't nasty by any means, but if you've tried it, you probably know the "flavor" aftertaste I'm talking about. It didn't age well, so I let him know my findings and they made a change.

Can't say it'd be that easy with any other company and it shows they're open to what I personally want too, so that surprised me.

Hopefully your mentioning it won't cause the price of individual bottles to rise.

Shouldn't - I just brought it to his attention as I followed up on the new rice krispies blend that I'm testing. Should hear back from him by this afternoon.
