I'm not honestly sure what will be in my package as I told Mike to send me whatever was in-stock and whatever wouldn't hinder sales. I'd rather see a new business profit before giving samples away, so I'm looking forward to seeing what's in the box whenever it gets here :).

I remember asking for at least one cereal flavor, perhaps Apple Jacks.

No email confirmation for me, request made last Friday when Tactical posted this thread :(

I probably got denied, since I didn't include a phone number :(

That and I wasn't sure what to put for business name, since I don't run a juice business. It didn't look to be a requirement so I wasn't sure what to do, if it is he should add that to the page somewhere so it's clearly mentioned, but now thinking back and seeing some of your confirmation comments I think that and the missing phone may have done in my chances :(

Did anyone else get a email confirmation, without providing a phone number?

@ the Flavorwest queries, I thought the same too, there in the same town too I think. Aside from the images being the same, TONS of the names are exactly the same too. Just looking at the top two rows of this desserts page would make this immediately obvious to any DIYJuice, FlavorWest, VaporRenu or MBV fan. So maybe they just both use the same source if he's not re-bottling?

Other than business name, all other fields are required I believe (even if not marked). When I sent in my request Mike called me a little over 48 hours later to confirm and let me know the reason behind the delay. I don't know if calling everyone who requests samples is something they do, or if he just so happened to be the one checking my request that day, but the business name is the only thing I left out.

The reasoning for this, in my eyes, would be to make sure you're not just the same person over and over making requests to get everything for free without paying. Not saying that's what anyone here would do, but not everyone is honest and they're in it to make money, not lose on those that use free e-mails left and right to grab whatever they can for nothing :).

That said, Aurora-Oblivion, if you can shoot me your First Name and Last Initial via PM, I'll be happy to get in touch with Mike and see if there was an issue. I hope that isn't against the rules here (I didn't see anything about it). Just trying to help so you can enjoy what others are too!

In regards to FlavorWest, he assured me that they didn't buy from them, though that doesn't mean they don't use the same manufacturer that they do. He didn't say much more other than that they were direct and that they had control over their flavors, so if there's something wrong, they can work with the manufacturer to fix the issue.

Once I receive the samples I'll be able to confirm a little more without assuming :). Name wise, I agree, they are the same for many of the flavors. I'll know for sure in the upcoming days.

Thanks Mrs C, sounds like maybe I did get overlooked then since no email notification :( That or maybe I'm just still further down on the list and he hasn't got to my request yet?

PM coming anyway Tactical, thanks!

I put N/A for the phone, and I think "Upcoming" for the business

Ya that could be it Mrs C, but it does sound like I put in my request before you if the forum timestamps are correct.

I think I put in my request about 1-2PM that same day (vs 4pm it shows me for your post on pg 1), but I could be wrong about the time maybe?

Well Tactical, if you talk to him tomorrow for anything else go ahead and ask, but don't contact just for me let's wait another day and see if I get an email tomorrow or not, I'm sure he's busy anyway so that may be the only reason he hasn't got to mine yet. I wouldn't want to make him feel rushed to send me something free anyway! :)

To confirm, I received my samples today and I'll be doing some "smell" tests against the ones I have from MBV from Flavor West before I get to the actual taste testing of the flavors.

To get things started, I will go ahead and note that OneOnOne Cake looks and smells very different from the one from FW. It's much darker and has more of a caramel aroma, so unless it's a heavier concentrate, it's definitely not the same. Candy Corn & Salt Water Taffy are very close to the same, if not the same as FW from what I can tell. They're identical in color and strength. That doesn't mean they are the same, they could vape completely different.

I have other samples on-hand as well, so I'll keep this post updated.

As a follow up, I've tested 5 of the flavors Mike sent over and the average mix ratio is about 15%. Some of the cereals could most likely be mixed in the 12-13% range though, I simply prefer a little "extra" in my juice.

1: Fruit Loops
- - Pretty much spot on Fruit Loops. You can taste lemon and lime in the mix, but you also get a pretty well-rounded mix of other flavors. A hint here and there which makes for one heck of a flavor.

2: Fruity COPYRIGHTDMCA
- - Again, pretty much spot on Fruit COPYRIGHTDMCA. You can taste the sweetness of the cereal from the first vape.

3: Monster
- - The only thing it's missing is the carbonation.

4: Cocoa COPYRIGHTDMCA
- - First, I dislike chocolate. I don't buy chocolate flavors, I don't vape chocolate flavors (intentionally). This one is pretty much a replica of cocoa COPYRIGHTDMCA and is the first chocolate vape I've enjoyed and will continue to vape. It's light and semi-sweet just like the cereal.

5: Captain Crunch
- - This one needs a little time to steep as it comes off as having a bit of alcohol in it, so I'll have to report back on this one. The first vape wasn't bad by any means, but the alcohol-like vape came through, so I'm going to let this one steep a bit.

That said, all of these have been mix-n-vape. None of them have steeped at all, so this is pure flavor coming through. Once they have 24-48 hours to steep, I'm sure they'll be even better as I can't imagine them losing the already great taste.

The Cake (Yellow) is up next. When compared to Flavor West is about 5-10x darker, like a deep caramel color. It has some major caramel notes to it and I'm definitely looking forward to it next.
