My samples arrived today as well!! Guess he was just too busy sending out freebies to get an email to everyone that requested (And yes, I did keep an eye on spam, and nothing is blocked without my intervention). No worries though, I appreciate the surprise anyway!

Guess I should have waited a little longer before having you ask him about that Tactical! :)

I requested 2 flavors, with an additional third if he didn't mind, but only recieved the first and third optional flavor (Missed out on the one I really wanted to try Cookies and Cream) :( It's free though, and very much appreciated! Can't wait to try these out!

I received Cinnamon Roll (Smells just like FW), and Strawberry which I haven't tried from FW but I do suspect that's the same too as I know a few vendors that use their Strawberry and this smells like those so I bet it's the same too.

Interesting to hear about your yellow cake Tactical, mine from FW is very dark caramel color too so that color depth may come from age/freshness too. Mine does not smell or taste like caramel at all though, just very rich vanilla yellow cake (At 5-12%, lighter end for mixes)

I look forward to hearing everybody's thoughts on these flavors this week! Hopefully someone requested the Cookies and Cream and lets us know how it is, I really wanted to taste that one!

As a follow up, I've tested 5 of the flavors Mike sent over and the average mix ratio is about 15%. Some of the cereals could most likely be mixed in the 12-13% range though, I simply prefer a little "extra" in my juice.

1: Fruit Loops
- - Pretty much spot on Fruit Loops. You can taste lemon and lime in the mix, but you also get a pretty well-rounded mix of other flavors. A hint here and there which makes for one heck of a flavor.

2: Fruity COPYRIGHTDMCA
- - Again, pretty much spot on Fruit COPYRIGHTDMCA. You can taste the sweetness of the cereal from the first vape.

3: Monster
- - The only thing it's missing is the carbonation.

4: Cocoa COPYRIGHTDMCA
- - First, I dislike chocolate. I don't buy chocolate flavors, I don't vape chocolate flavors (intentionally). This one is pretty much a replica of cocoa COPYRIGHTDMCA and is the first chocolate vape I've enjoyed and will continue to vape. It's light and semi-sweet just like the cereal.

5: Captain Crunch
- - This one needs a little time to steep as it comes off as having a bit of alcohol in it, so I'll have to report back on this one. The first vape wasn't bad by any means, but the alcohol-like vape came through, so I'm going to let this one steep a bit.

That said, all of these have been mix-n-vape. None of them have steeped at all, so this is pure flavor coming through. Once they have 24-48 hours to steep, I'm sure they'll be even better as I can't imagine them losing the already great taste.

The Cake (Yellow) is up next. When compared to Flavor West is about 5-10x darker, like a deep caramel color. It has some major caramel notes to it and I'm definitely looking forward to it next.
If these flavors have to be mixed that high it is a game changer for me. I don't mix any higher than 10% due to my comfort zone. One of the main reasons I don't use flavorwest flavoriings. I shall see tho.

It's not that they have to be mixed that high, that's what I mix them at. I like extra flavor and those that vape with me do too :). You could easily do 10% and still get flavor. This is also based on 5 flavors, not the entire collection they offer.

You sure you don't work for this vendor? :)
I am going to order Cinnamon bun by flavorwest to compare. I could be wrong.

Absolutely sure :). I came across them on Google when looking for cereal and cake flavors. They were a few pages in on the search and I put in a sample request.

Mike just happened to be the one to contact me and I've been chatting with him back and forth to get more info on the company and how they do things.

In regards to flavors, I've always preferred stronger over weaker. That's how I like my drinks, and that's how I've always enjoyed cigars :).

I received white tea instead of chai tea, and double dutch chocolate instead of coffee. I've never tried either of these from any vendor so won't be able to tell you it's better or worse than so-and-so's, but it will be fun to experiment. Their sample is a size I'm used to paying 5 or 6 bux for, plus shipping. I'm a happy camper!

I would rather have had a lil something in the mail box than the inbox...looks like it's my turn to wait a day

For those still waiting, Mike said they're receiving 75+ requests per day on average for samples, but they are going out as long as you are providing valid information. All samples are coming from California, so it could take anywhere between 2-5 days to get them once a request has been processed.

Here's the differences I was speaking of between the two cakes. The one on the left is MBV (FlavorWest) and the one on the right is the one from OneOnOne. I know flavors can steep as well, but I don't see the one from MBV getting that rich and dark color in the next few days to weeks.

Taste wise, it's different. I do taste the rich cake, but also caramel.

I think you'll be fine, even with most FW too! From all the flavors I've played with, plenty (A lot) are fine at 5-8%, and I'd say that could be considered a good average flavor amount. Then a heavier more bold flavor amount would be 10-12%+ depending on tastes.

I mixed up two testers tonight, Cinn Roll and Strawberry, both at 60PG/40VG 8% and they are fully flavored and taste just fine already, even though they are still in my first initial hot water bath. Of course that may or may not apply to all the flavors, some might even be much stronger, or weaker, but in general I think 5-8% would be a decent average for most users who don't need/want that strong in your face flavor (And that 5-8 isn't weak by any means, I've had PLENTY of pre-mixed vendor juices MUCH weaker)

Hope you're able to enjoy those flavors! Sucks we aren't all getting what we requested, but I guess we can't really complain as Mike was nice enough to send out free samples and I'm sure he's buried in request :) :thumb:

WOW, that is VERY Dark yellow cake!!

My FW yellow cake is much darker than your MBV one however? Here, I tried to get some decent shots from various angles for comparison for you. But yes, the OneOnOne is MUCH darker than my FW even, looks like it's not even translucent is it?

Guess I'll have to try this yellow cake next, caramel cake sounds good! Hopefully there's no mix-ups for paying customers, I plan to order that cake and the cookies and cream that I missed getting on these samplers. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on how it tastes! I think the regular FW one taste best after at least a 2 week steep, non USC'd

OneOnOne's Cake (Yellow) is definitely deeper and darker :). It's not as deep or dark as their Double Dutch Chocolate, but it could pass for about 70-80% in color. Flavor wise, it's not bad at all and it doesn't seems to have as much of the "cakey" flavor that the one from FW has, but that's not a bad thing. It still tastes great and once I recoil the Protank, it get's it's own tank right next to Cocoa COPYRIGHTDMCA.

I may have to buy a few new tanks as the 5 Protanks I have right now are all about to be filled :). I'm giving most flavors 24-48 hours to get a semi-decent steep going and then it'll be a 10-15 minute hot water bath to accelerate it. After they cool, it's time to really dive in and get to taste testing as that'll be when the flavor will start to shine through.

As for batches, the one from MBV (i.e. FW) was bottled on 10/3. I don't know if it was a new batch of flavoring or if that's just when they put it in the bottle they sent to me, so that could have some effect, but I don't see it getting down to what the one from OneOnOne is any time soon, if at all. If I had some extra clear vials I'd do a better comparison.

I normally test and vape on 1.8-2.2 ohm coils @ 10w, with the occasional 1.3-1.5 on the SVD using Cotton instead of Silica. I've not had too many issues with coil build-up, but I also change wicks pretty much daily and dry burn the coil, so that's probably why :). I'll be doing a run on the Double-Dutch Chocolate without changing until it either burns or stops working.

I'll be doing the same for cake, but so far it's vaping like a charm :).

i got my package of two samples yesterday. they must have been out of Skittles because i got Sweet Tarts instead. the gummy bears was my other choice and that was in stock. so i got gummy bears and sweet tarts, both 10ml. they both smell outstanding. the Sweettarts smells better than my TFA sweettarts, plus i love sweettarts so swapping that for the skittles is a-okay by me. especially seeing how they were free! i plan to mix them both up separately soon. i think i'll start with 5% and go up from there if needed.

I tried to order and it didn't work.

Also they use Ups so the shipping was 19.02 by its self.

What didn't work for you? I've not sent in a real order yet, but I'll let Mike know if there's an issue with the form.
