That being said, I spoke with Mike a few days ago to reaffirm their position on their flavors and coming direct from him, they do not buy from VaporRenu or FlavorWest; they buy direct from manufacturers of the concentrates. I specifically questioned this as FW has been getting hit pretty hard in regards to their iffy position on what is in their flavors (i.e. they stated Diacetyl-Free, but it's coming to light that many are in fact, not and do contain Diacetyl).

That is good to know, thanks! But did he ever answer your specific question as to whether OOO uses Diacetyl or related diketones in any of their flavors? I saw your post where you said you asked but didn't see an answer. If I missed it I apologize.

I'm not horrified by the use of these chemicals at the levels I'm using, but would rather opt for a "safer" juice if possible. I'm trying to eliminate them from my mixing supplies as I find out about them. There's nothing I hate more than finding out a flavor I've fallen in love with needs to be replaced. I'm really missing my peanut butters! Wah... :(

I've got several OOO flavors and haven't really found one that I dislike and a couple are outstanding. The Cinnamon Roll w/Caramel is wonderful! You can easily taste the dough and the rest is balanced really well. However, it's so good it makes me wonder. :)

From the last e-mail exchange with Mike on the subject, Diacetyl is not present, though some of their flavors do contain Acetoin, Acetyl Proprionyl or both. This information is now popping up on their site so when you pull up a flavor, though it's presented in a slightly different way.

For example, we'll take a look at Sugar Butter Cookie:

Sugar Butter Cookie Flavored Liquid Concentrate | One-on-One Flavors

You'll note that in red text it states "Diacetyl Free, Acetoin Free, Acetyl Proprionyl Free" - which means none of those chemicals are present.

Now if we look at Belgian Waffle:

Belgian Waffle Flavored Liquid Concentrate | One-on-One Flavors

You'll note that in red text it states "Diacetyl Free" which would mean that Acetoin & Acetyl Proprionyl are indeed present as the only label is "Diacetyl Free."

So the information is presented a little differently. Not all flavors have been updated, so for those without any red text, you should get in touch with them directly. In addition, they are also now labeling the flavors with a warning when it comes to Acetoin and Acetyl Proprionyl:

"This flavor contains very small traces of Acetoin and Acetyl Proprionyl. We have not researched the affects of each of these ingredients but have made a considerable move towards not having any Diacetyl in our flavors."

Whelp, thanks to this thread just ordered (like I need any more flavorings):

Pie Crust, Vanilla Frosting, Rainbow Sherbet, Dutch Apple Pie, Yellow Cake, Rice K's, Sweet and Tart Candy, Red Square Candy, Gummy Bear, Creamy Caramel, Fruity Type Gum, & Mandies Mints.

I hope you all are happy...and I sure hope they are as good as most of you make them out to be! All kidding aside, thanks all for sharing your thoughts and mix percentages. I'm sure this will help me dial in my ratios quicker!

Thanks Johnathan! Exactly what I was looking for. Really appreciated.

I'm glad they are disclosing for those that are concerned about these ingredients. That's the kind of company I like to do business with!

The Reeces P Cereal finally came around after a week in the cupboard...even after the ultra sonic cleaner and heat for 4 hours?:D....I am glad I did not PIF it away as it is quite good...it smelt and tasted like a fruit mix until today...weird but good now at 14%
Thanks for reminding me I had it setting in there. As I said in earlier post I am no cereal fan but after a week or so setting the Reeses P is quite good here as well. I didn't mix that strong but I an setting here liking it. And it does need time to meld together fresh it made me wanta start adding to it. It is a keeper here as well.

I have been lurking on this thread for awhile now. Finaly placed an order 2 weeks ago. I got captain berries, coco p's, fruity p's ,and red square. After recieving them and mixing them up all at 10% they were very good... with the exception of captin berries. this one is no where near the taste I had hoped for. Is there a possibilty that it was labled wrong? To me it has a very strong tabbaco flavor.

I thought the same thing with my Reeces P Cereal...tasted like fruit not peanut butter cereal....after a week after ultra sonic and heat steep initially it came around to a real close cereal taste...

I have also been lurking in this thread on and off for the last three weeks, and I placed an order on Monday for green caramel apple, snickey's, salted caramel, and capn berries. I have been doing DIY since I started vaping, but I need to expand my horizons. :)

There are several flavors there that I am intrigued by, but my highest hopes are set on capn berries right now because I used to love this cereal. I see that someone just posted that it didn't taste like capn crunchberries at all, so I hope that is not true. I searched this thread for feedback on this flavor, and for most part it was all positive.

Thank to you everyone who has shared feedback in this thread, you have been very helpful to me. :)

It's not 100% identical in taste to the cereal exactly as in milk, toasted crunch etc, though it is a very good flavor and does resemble the flavor of crunch berries :). I feel it's the closest you can get in vape form, though there's room for development if you add cream and other flavors in moderation to elevate things :).

Thank you ... it is the "crunchberry" flavor that I am after. I do have some sweet cream, and malted milk, but I will try it straight up at first, and take it from there. I am definitely looking forward to these flavors because I am TFA and Capella'd out!

Malted Milk from TFA scares me if that's the one you're talking about. I mixed that at 1% and it about blew my head off :). I've not yet tested it at a 10:1 dripped dilution (1% MM to 10ml of base, and then drip 2-4 drops into the e-liquid), but the sheer taste at 1% forced me to rebuild my coil as I couldn't get it out.

Sweet Cream isn't my personal favorite, but I'd recommend it over MM :).

Even without trying Malted Milk from TFA, I am inclined to agree. The last time I used as a mixer at 5% I dumped the juice, so I was thinking that if I were to use it, it would be a very, very small amount ...

So I've had a chance to try the four flavors that I bought, Salted Caramel, Snickey's, Capn Berries, and Green caramel apple, and I have had a chance to try three of them at 15% (I'm a full flavor vaper) my personal feedback is:

Snickey's - very disappointing. I find this to be a very flat chocolate flavor, with only a slight hint of peanut. I love snicker bars, and this doesn't taste anything like one. But I am gonna try a small batch mixed with salted caramel to see if that helps add some depth to this this flavor .. maybe even a drop of AP as well.

Capn Berries - This one is interesting .. my first 5ml batch at 15% I thought it had a very good crunchberry flavor, but not much cereal or milk. I do get some cereal on the exhale, but crunchberry was the predominate flavor, which is not a bad thing for me. However, after a week I feel like the flavor changed on me .. Now I get much less crunchberry, and more of a cereal minus the milk. So I am gonna try it in a Kayfun (vaping it in a Squape now) to see if that changes how I am experiencing the flavor.

Green caramel apple - I considered this one a risk because I could not find any customer feedback for it ... the risk paid off because I LOVE THIS FLAVOR! It tastes exactly as the name implies it should, a clean, crisp very definite green apple flavor, with a very nice sweet, and creamy caramel. This flavor is perfectly balanced between green apple and caramel. There are no strange perfumey tones, or weird chemical after tastes. This is an absolute keeper for me.

I just mixed up Salted Caramel, so I haven't tried it yet, but I hope its good because I am the Caramel Queen, so I am very critical of caramel flavors.

I want to hear your report on the Salted Caramel. I've used the one from FW which is very good but it really eats through coils.

I will definitely report back after it has steeped for week, and I have vaped it. Caramel's are usually good for gunking up coils rather fast, so I can relate.

I placed another order middle last week for testing. sweet ice cream and vanilla shake. The vanilla shake to me was hopeless it has a weird bite but i will blend on it (more light vanilla and dairy needed). The sweet icecream has the same sorta bite but less and I have a pretty nice mix here with it been vaping it all day.
3ml
8 drops sweet icecream
3 drops fw strawberry
2 drops ca sweet strawberry
i hate using so much flavor (pg) but I just used 90% vg instead of my normal 80% and it worked out. It takes more ooo flavor for most of em here and if I have to go above 10 drops of any flavor in 3ml it gets blended on.

As for sweet cream to me tfa was not so good but the fw sweet cream I blend with it all the time. And the tfa malted milk I am on the fence as I use it in a couple recipes lightly and it is good there but alone no way. I seldom find a flavor I like alone so I end up blending on everything, ooo vanilla butternut is to me the best flavor so far. I tried every v butternut I could find, this they have is great. I find myself not wanting to swap tanks every time I screw it on I love the stuff. But most other 1on1 I just sorta pass by alone. This mix above is pretty good though I may get a 30ml bottle of the sw icecream. I have abt 15 of em and I blend on em all but the v butternut. Snickys is to me is too choco alone but I add a tad ooo peanut crunch mixed lighter the peanut comes out in it but was too weak that way. Peanut crunch is another winner alone here. Taste is to each his own and I am a nose exhaler so I taste things better on exhale. What each of us like is as we do it ya know. I gotta order 30ml of the p crunch wife loves it

Like the cereals to me i do better blending with ap to get em. The tastes I like is the ones I can vape a whole tank and the flavors stays instead of morphing after a few hits. And I have found 1on1 for me don't do so they change drastically even from fresh to aged. Like captain p so good for a few puffs then it just numbs the taste buds and I unscrew it. But that is just me lol. It is almost like they use vape wizard or smooth in the flavors and that stuff numbs my buds and nothing tastes good after. Best for me to blend 2 or 3 brands of same flavor usually then I get the good from them all. Like fw strawberry and ca strawberry together good here alone yuck. A real good strawberry for me is gourmet strawberry, fw, & ca blended. ooo has some I blend with everyday just not alone.

I never have coils gooped up but I use nr-r-nr and cotton then rinse and dry burn good every fill usually I change cotton every fill I am a taste freak lol. Takes about 2 mins to clean and fill I use bottom coils or drippers. Some of my tanks have 50 fills or more on the wire. I use Evods and mini pro style stuff mostly glass.

I'm considering placing an order.

Does their Strawberry taste more like ripe strawberries, or more like strawberry topping?

I'd prefer ripe strawberries.

I'd say a bit of a cross between both, though most of them come off that way :). It's not bad though, far less chemically than Capella's, though it's not as potent.
