well I WILL find a solution to it.....cuz I love how they vape.:)

pulling the contact pin part way out then rolling a tiny o-ring over and behind the head of the contqact pin would cause it to stick out a bit more and thus give you better contact without compromising your airtight integrity.

that seems extreme....why should I have to reconfigure it to make it work.
the video I mentioned above shows smokie giving praise and then kind of looking like oops maybe they aren't as great as we think. To say they are great when they work is kind of silly.

Just a note to cold weather users: The aspire will flood when exposed to cold temps. I was out and about today @ 0 degrees. It took about 30 minutes for the ecig/aspire to acclimate to my indoor temperature. (BTW I have found this with most of my glass clearomizers/regular clearomizers as well.)

I believe what is happening is the same when I chain vape an almost empty BCC glassomizer. The air inside the glassomizer heats up and expands resulting in slight internal pressure that forces liquid into the chamber and results in flooding.

possible solutions

1. keep your APV inside your cold weather gear so it stays warm from your body heat. (this will also prevent your batteries from getting cold and thus stop working)
2. when you come indoors, point your APV down so thatwhen it warms up and the air inside the tank expands, it will leak out instead of forcing fluid into your chamber.
3. when you come inside, remove your clearomizer from the battery, then open it to let some warm air in and equalize pressure in the device.

ok....but if I have to do that constantly I don't care how good they are....I won't keep using them. Moving between battery types and it pushes up again.

i always cotton dab when i change tanks, so this is 1 tiny step. i generally find the there was no leakage with these, so it's about even. protank makes a bdc, too. there's no pin issue.

plus, i really only have to do it when i fill tanks. each tank has a home now.

Tried this 3.5ml glass one at a B&M yesterday and liked it so much I bought it. I'm a carto tank guy because I've tried a lot of different clearos and got dry hits on them all until the Aspire. Switching from the Vamo V5 to the MVP2 I had to pull the pin on the tank to make contact. The beauty ring seems to hold it off too so I don't use it.

I am not the one that has contact issues with different mods/batteries and yes you could just pull the pin out a bit every time you switched batteries but I am lazy and would rather install a 5 cent o-ring on the coil head and not worry abouit it until the head burns out.
I am fairly sure with will eventually get corrected by the factory, but until then what about all the replacement coils that are already shipped?

I had a problem similar to this with an AGA-T2 and corrected it the same way. and by the way I am talking about the pin on the atomizer head, not the one on the battery/mod

Don't know if there are any, however if you look at abusario's video: A PBusardo Review - The Aspire BDC - YouTube

Go to the 20 minute mark and he shows pulling the post out, then forward to the 22 minute and 20 second mark and it shows him pulling the post all the way out.

Do not pull the post all the way out, but just a bit, then roll a tiny o-ring (you will have to go to a good hardware store like ACE, not Lowes or Home Depot and buy the find the o-ring) up and over the pin's head and onto the shaft, the o-ring should be on the shaft, behind the head and forward of the insulator, push the post back in and re-install.

Be careful to not pull the pin all the way out or you might never get it back in right.....

If yo have an old burned out head from a protank or evod lying aiound, try that first.

do orings come in a million diff sizes? We have an Ace down the street from me will stop there tomorrow.

They do indeed, I mention ACE as they usually have assortments and their clerks usually know where things are and can give customers personal attention. I advise taking a burned out head with you that has had the pin pulled out slightly. Put it in a ziplock so you don't lose it in your pocket. Get the smallest thickness you can and get a few extras.
