Anyone try the Aspire clearos/tanks yet?

Honestly for what they are asking for the new Asipres, I would buy a kayfun clone and start building.

The kayfun design is ridiculously amazing. The coil rebuild cost is strikingly low. While it is a bit of a PITA to deal with compared to screwing in a coil, the benefits are tenfold. The only real downfall I see is that your juices will not go as far. My Russian does drink fluid. But my flavors, and clouds are soooo much better.

Now, for $10 the Aspire BDCs are hard to beat. But for $30 I am all over the kayfun/Russian clones.

It's funny that you mention the Russian and KFL. The person that sent this to me likes the Nautilus just as well as his Russian and KFL. He likes it well enough that he feels it is worth the cost and is going to use nothing but the KFL, Russian and Nautilus from here on out. He stated that he is on week 5 with his first Nautilus coil.

These things are seriously made like tanks and I am able to see why they guarantee no leaks. The seal that it has is one helluva seal.

I do hear you on the price though. I still feel like they will eventually come down in price. I was lucky to have a friend generous enough to buy one for me because like you, I do not think that I would have spent $30 on it before trying it either :)

Seems that Eigate is determined to keep the pricing fixed on the Nautilus. Health Cabin just jacked their price up by $9 and a few others have jacked up the price as well. Might be a really good time to boycott these Chinese manufacturers that insist on doing what is illegal in our country.
Just my :2c:

You can forget seeing any sales or much lower pricing on these unless their popularity declines.

Exhale vapors has the Nautilus for 35.98 with free shipping. :) Still waiting for a lower price vendors! I know the wholesale on these.

Vendors will not be allowed to drop the price at any point in the near future or Eigate simply will not supply them. Once the popularity slows they may come down but not anytime soon IMO

Vaporware Store has them for $32 with a code and I think that shipping is free as well.

I have to correct myself on the above post. The friend that sent me the Nautilus was on day (not week) 5 with his coil. I did not want to mislead anyone :)

I thought that folks here might like to read this review from my friend :)

good morning - life is a little sweeter the day after your team stomps and romps to a big victory isn't it?.......
anyway, i wanted to do a little follow-up on the nautilus since we are killing time... i used the 1st head(1.6) for 5 1/2 straight days with 40pg/60vg liquid without any problems at all-no wicking problems, no dry hits, nothing but consistent smooth vaping. pretty darn flavorful too. it definitely gets better on day 2 and on as far as "breaking in". i switch between this and my r91 and there is not that much difference in flavor between the two. i think you are always going to think the rba is better because you build the coil and put in the wick, but objectively in a true blind test i think a lot of people would have a hard time telling the difference. i would like to see a true test like that some time- maybe at some meet or vapefest...
the new coil(1.8) is wicking just fine- i will vape it for a few days(since i only have the one tank) and switch back to the first one to see how long i can get out of the coils. i have used the tank on a variety of devices- different dna20 mods, an ea mech, and a sigelei zmax flattop v5- it works with no problems on anything. it works fine on my wife's spinners but is obviously a little top heavy- it still looks good with the taper ring and i would have no problem using it that way if that was the only method i had to vape on.
bottom line- i still remain impressed. the price is a non-issue for me and i think the quality of the vape justifies it anyway. another tank or two and some heads and i will be set.......

Well... if you appreciate Rip Tripper's opinion Aspire Nautilus Clearomizer - YouTube
the new Aspire Nautilus ... is the best clearomizer made to date...

About the only real 2 cons he had were the price... and something he wasn't aware of having
to do with not being able to rebuild the coils yet...

Rip is presently... unaware of the fact that
you can remove the contact pin an rubber grommet from the bottom of the head
and then using snips or small pliers ... you can pull the small metal chamber the coils are in
out from the bottom of head and recoil as you please...

Hi OldSeer! Just a question: Do you have any photos showing how this is done? I have ADD so I have to see photos to succeed in coil building. I can build coils for by RBAs.
I just bit the bullet and ordered a Nautilus and a 5 pack of heads.

I have recently picked up one of each that Smokeless Image offers which are built to work with their threading. So far they have been impressive but only have been using them a little over a week now. I will probably buy a second in one or two of the sizes. So far they have been about as good as it gets compared to what I've used to date, but then I started in September of this year.

So ooooooo. The Nautilus tank uses different heads from all the aspire BDC heads I stocked my wife up with for her Davide's and vivis? :-(

I know it's a PITA P2M but, these are larger and really do have increased flavor IMO. Does not help those of us that have a hoarders stash of the regular Aspire BDCs though :(

I've been ranting about the cost of tanks on a different thread right here... I think the 40 buck pricetag for the Nautilus is ridiculous.

I finally got around the Aspire problem: the Davide has two smallish fill holes that when turned upside down didn't feed enough liquid to the head. Changed tanks and mounted the ring and head on the Puritank and voila! Heaven. Works great even without water. I'd love to know where to find more of the Davide Aspire adapter rings. I tried on PT1 and works great. I don't want to buy any more tanks, just the adapter ring. Specially on the PT1 with the oh-so-airy draw, the Aspire works wonderfully.

The last time I checked discount vapors had them but they are out of stock. This place Anyvape Davide BCC to BDC Adapter - Viper Vape Inc has them. They have a coupon code floating around somewhere. (I think this is what you might be looking for).

Just looked DV has them in stock again.

I got several adpters from Discount Vapers a few weeks back. They work well with the PT1 and the PT2. I have no issues with my Aspire Davide's either though.

Are you talking about the gasket type thing that is on the end of the air tube and keeps juice from going into the air tube? That can be removed if you don't like it. I am not sure of what fill holes you could be speaking of other than that?

Argh!!! Things just move way to fast in our world doesn't it? That's a good thing!! But, can be frustrating. Right now she's happy with her Aspire/Davide's. By the time she gets close to running out of heads, the next great thing will be out or the price on the Nautilus, etc.. will go down. Win win!!
