I'm considering using my QWS bullet but then it seems to shoot it up a little too much up my nose if I sniff too hard but if I don't sniff enough I don't get anything. Or should I just buy a snuff box? I'm tired of having to open up these damn cans and containers spilling powder...

gashin, I'm expecting my first order to arrive today. I have both a QWS and a Toque bullet coming. Maybe one is better than the other. I'll let you know how it goes. I have seen some nice smash boxes and slide-top containers (like you would slide the top open a little and tap some onto your hand). I'm sure one of the resident pro snuffers will be in shortly to offer up better advice.

Update us when you try it for the first time! I took my first sniff from the QWS bullet and it shot up my sinus strong and it burned - try to regulate it. I'm almost done with the first bullet and I can either replace it with the refill QWS includes or refill it with other flavors I like.... GRRR.... I just remembereed 10 years ago I actually HAD a slide-top, wooden snuff box that I got on a family trip through the Mid-west..... I threw it out because I thought it was a toy for kids .... stupid... stupid

I do not care for the bullets, I did try and use them when I first started but had trouble with getting the right amount or any, they leaked in my pocket and I had a hard time turning the little thingy.
I like using a snuff box or smash box and just pinching what I want out of it. I can better control how much and where it goes using a pinch.

I use bullets .. as intended.
I have both Toque and QWS bullets that I rotate daily in my right pants pocket. Yes, they someimes leak. Bummer. But at least I don't walk around with a brown nose from touching the back of my hand, or have brown stuff hanging out of my nostrils, etc. The bullet is the cleanest delivery method -- and you'll learn to sniff, not snort, so it doesn't go to the top of your nose.
If I had to choose any other method, it would be the snuff spoon. Also clean delivery if used properly. Find one in antique stores.

Mine were so packed I had to take the bullets apart.
So I unscrewed the bottom and took it from there until it works correctly.

I haven't had much luck with my Toque bullet. Like you said, it shoots up into the sinuses. But it certainly provided a nicotine kick! My favourite method, besides pinching, is to use the cap of a pen to scoop up snuff, then take a gentle sniff.
I've also just ordered a few Pöschl Automatixbox's, which is a little catapult that shoots snuff into your nose. It's recommended on snuffhouse.org. I'll let you know how that goes when I receive it. Here's a picture:

I've been practicing with the bullet a bit more, and I'm starting to like the convenience better and better. Yes, it's still shoots a bit too far up my nose occasionally - usually on the first sniff - but it damn well works, it's discreet, and there's no mess, as TB said.
I have a bullet with Toque Original in it, and it certainly provided a strong nicotine kick for me. I'm usually prefer flavour over nic content, but with the terrible weekend that I had, it sure helped calm me down somewhat.
Just take it slowly, and try taking your first sniff with the nozzle of the bullet somewhat away from your nose until you get comfortable with it.
