Anyone using dual coil cartos with an E-Power?

I've found mixed information about how LR cartos perform with the E-Power. Some say they work great and others report that the low resistance causes protection mechanism in the switch to trip. So is anyone out there using LR and/or dual coil cartos (< 2 Ohms) with success on an E-Power. Mine's a 14650 if it matters. How is the performance and battery life?

I use a E-power that I purchased at VaporJunction. I purchased the e-power to strictly run the duals. No problems thus far.
I have numerous e-cigs and will probably hold out for a mass produced VV ego type e-cig. However, its my running around e-cig and I love it. The only thing negative I can say is the paint is peeling on mine. It is black.

Yeah, I love mine too. Haven't had any paint peel off, but I can't say I'd really care as long as it works. Good to know the duals work well on it. Thanks!

I have found that running an IMR 14650 works very well over a regular 14650 with LR stuff on the E-Power units, you may want to give this a try ! BDL Makes em !

The E Power was developed with the DC in mind by the same company producing both of them.

I've already got it bookmarked at electronicstix.com. I figured I'd burn through the stock batts first and then replace them with the IMR.

I use DC Cartos on my 18560 E-Power and they work like a dream!

I tried to drip on an lr306 atty though and the protection kicked in.

My thought is a single coil LR will not work but a DC will because the overall Ohms are higher.

Hmm, interesting. So are the ever-popular Boge 510 LR Cartos out for this unit then? That was another carto option I was wanting to try. I'm still using regular old 510 attys and I'm trying to figure out my options for branching out into the carto world...

Or was it maybee the protection of battery that kicked in. AFAIK, the 18650 Epower has a switch rated at 4.5 Amps, so it would not turn off that easy.

Goodtimes: I forgot to reply to "how long is battery life". I use two units during the day so I cannot really say. However, for one day last month I strictly used the epower morning to late night and I had to switch out after 6 hours. I have a VV that had crappy batteries in it from the get go and would only last 2-3 hours max on a dual. I am impressed with battery life. I do vape allot if that helps.

I'm using an E-Power 14650 with DC cartos (1.5 ohm) as my daily vape.

So far - no issues. Battery life is about 6-7 hours with DC's and I find I go through 2 batteries a day. Using regular 2.5 ohm is easier on the batteries but TH and flavor are different.

I've been using the boge 2.0 cartos with my 18650 noego with no problems.

I've been using the emdcc from Madvapes. It requires a V2 shorty adapter, but with this set up I can go all day. The emdcc will hold about 4.5ml of liquid and with the long battery life of the 14650 you can be set for the day. Those cartos are the best that I have used, but have had no problem with Boge LR and mega dual coil clears either.

I ended up trying a couple LR cartos from Ikenvape. The Gold V2 (1.8 Ohm) I'm not too impressed with. I had a tight draw from the get-go and it doesn't seem much different from my SR Joye attys performance wise. The Clear XLR Single Coil (1.6 Ohm), however, are awesome! The vapor, flavor, and TH are both more intense.
