Yeah, I vote for stretching on the sighting too. There are creepy things that people do for excitement, and sometimes, I'm sure, people take it too far. Especially when narcotics are involved.

I also agree with the throwing weapons. Sure, throw a hunk of lead . . . but nothing else . . . unless you are so good that you can nail the eyes just to buy a little extra time, but the time it would take to get that skill vs the effect it would have would be insubstantial.

True...Chuck Norris can chuck weapons...the rest of us better hold on to all we have

Throwing knives can be effective against the living, but probably not for zombies. A knife lodged in an arm or leg isn't going to kill the target but it will buy you some time while they take cover to remove it. A knife sticking out of you is going to be more than a little distracting if not deadly.

But, I agree not as effective on zombies. I just don't think zombies will be as distracted when they're focused on getting to those brains.

If you don't want to throw stars, here are some other ideas for knives & spikes...Not much better for fighting zombies, but really cool carrying holsters!

And just because, I am gonna post mine again. The backside of the rig will hold 6 throwing knives and 2 Kershaws, plus 2 45's and 4 extra magazines.

Yeah kinda...its worn like any other shoulder rig...think miami vice...the guns are both facing rearward for easy draw, the mag holders (2 on each side) are under the gun holster and fall downward. The back side of the rig is the pic i posted, 3 throwing knives and 1 fixed blade kershaw on each side. The knives are more for the zombie forum, so when I do wear it, usually I dont load the knives or the extra magazines just to try and keep t light as possible. Thank god we can open carry here in GA, but with the weather being cool lately, it hides well under a shirt or light jacket. I have 2 other rigs being made at the moment, strictly for the zombie sub-forum then I will get some pics and vids together.

Zombie Survival Guide Calendar March 14th
Happy Monday Zombie Vapers!

Today's calendar topic is "On the Attack"
Reminding us that once an area is secure, it is a wise idea to burn all the undead & newly dead bodies. This will not only prevent the problem of reanimation and spreading infection, but also will prevent providing an attractive meal for birds, animals and of course, other zombies.

And since there seems to be several future zombie slayers here who actually enjoy burning stuff up,
this should be a small highlight in what will be an otherwise grim apocalyptic day.:vapor:
