Anything slightly bigger and better than an ego battery?

Hello, I have had both the Riva ego 650mah and the normal 5 click ego 900 mah but they really don't seem to last very long, and I hate changing between batteries, I then went and got myself a 1300mah hello 016 battery which was brilliant until I went and dropped it into a toilet, and then dropping it on to a marble floor, it had problems because it couldn't be turned off so I kept pressing the button and I have lost many attys/carts/novas because of this. I don't want something like a lavatube as its really ugly nevertheless expensive and quite big.

I bought the 016 battery for £10/$8, anything else out there in a similar price range which is slightly better, I dislike the long ego batteries as they are difficult to fit into your normal pocket and look silly.

Thanks.

Have you thought about trying a box mod capable of using a 18650mAh battery? There are several out there, and most are not too terribly expensive, either. A 18650mAh battery should get you a solid 24 hours of vape time. However, it is doubtful they will fit comfortably in a front shirt pocket, either.

The smallish inexpensive mods that can take an 18350 or 14500 battery won't last longer than an ego/riva 900 mah battery, so you're forced into a bigger device that can hold an 18500 or 18650. The Joye Ego 18650 comes to mind - lightweight and cheap. Any of these choices will require you to buy a couple batteries and a charger as well. Many of us have a bigger battery device we use at home and a smaller one for when we're out. The 18350 Gripper may be of interest as a pocketable compromise. Good luck finding a fit!

My cousin just gave me (yes, gave me) a Torpedo VVV. It's basically a re-named Lavatube. It freakin' rocks. It's an 18650 battery. It will last well over a day. There are many bigger and better models than an eGo. Look up the Lavatube, the Torpedo VVV, the mini chrome Cylon VV. If you want variable voltage better than the eGo-Twist, check into the Kgo VV. It's the same size as an eGo battery, maybe a tad longer, but you can adjust the voltage from 3 volts to 6 volts, instead of the Twist's maximum voltage of 4.8 volts.

Then again, I found 4.5 volts to be the "sweet spot" for my vaping. In that case, a Twist might be more viable.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, the Kgo VV battery is pretty sweet, but the battery charge itself will not last very long above 4.5 volts. If you fully charge it, take it to work, and vape "normally" (not excessively) at 4.5 volts, it will probably last a 4-6 hour shift. However, this Torpedo I received will last well over a 24 hour period.

Try the GO-GO from CigEasy or NHaler - MUCH bigger than the eGo battery and much BETTER than the eGo in general... and that's coming from a 'former' eGo freak...... ;)

If you're not looking for a VV device, I would pick up any tube mod which uses 18650s. These should give you close to, or more than a full day of use. The good thing about a mod that uses 18650s, is that spare batteries aren't a pain to carry around, as opposed to carrying essentially a whole other PV like you would with any device which uses built in batteries such as the twist. With that said, check out what Iffy posted. That is a perfect option. Another cheap one which I can think of off the top of my head is the E-Power. But there are MANY others out there.

I might add, the eGo 18650 mod by eGo is a great way to go. It's slightly wider than an eGo twist and as about as tall

This is my wife's eGo T mod. It's the same thing that Iffy posted. She loves it and uses it almost a day and half on a single charge. That's at regular volts. Not quite a day on the higher volts. Regardless, she only vapes around 2 ml's a day though. The one huge downfall to this mod is that when it's dead, it takes almost 6 or 7 hours to charge using a standard eGo charger.

is that a 510/ego connection?

No, I'm sorry to say it's not. The GO-GO is a proprietary system and is not compatible with any other system.... however, I was just recently informed you can purchase adapters (I'm assuming 510 & 808 adapters... somebody help me out here if you know for certain which adapters are available!).... I've heard they cost around $3.00? ... and I can't vouch for how 'effective' the adapter(s) would be as I haven't tried them. I have a ton of eGo stuff here so I may just go ahead & purchase a 510 adapter.... next order I suppose. Hope this was helpful :)

A shame, I'd consider it if it were 510. I'm afraid to fall in love with something proprietary (including adapters) in the sad event that the company should vanish off the face of the earth. I'm not in a position to stockpile either.

My daily setup is 2 650mah Eho Twists, just upgraded to the Vivi Nova V3 from T2 Kanger clearos and what I've been doing is filling the Nova up with its required 3.5mls of juice and with that and my 2 Twists I'm good for the day. My 1st battery will sometimes die around 9pm and ill switch batts, when I get home from work ill put them both on charge before bed and wake up with my days charge. I also have the large Ego case which fits in the back pocket. Personally I'd recommend them to anybody locking for ease and quality. So far my back ups are 2 1100mah Regular Ego C type batts that I bought before I had the twists lol, 2 900mah Ego Twists and 10 AW IMR 18350 batts for my new love the VV REO.....
