So I put 3 of my coils together. From left to right 1.6ohm BVC, 1.8ohm BVC and 1.6ohm BDC.

I can see where the threads on the 1.6ohm bvc are one row shorter. Not sure if you can see it in the pic or not. Also the 1.8ohm that came with the mini were great. The 1.6ohm I bought in a pack, not so much. Dry hits and and spitting. I checked the code and they are authentic. I'm gonna pick up another pack of 1.8ohm today and see how they fare.

I can clearly see that the 1.6ohm coils has fewer threads at the bottom. Very interesting......

I see that the threads are fewer on the 1.6 Ohm coils. My first bad box was 1.6 ohms, but since I have had both 1.8 and 1.6 ohm boxes with all heads working very well. I still think its a quality control issue rather than a design problem

Have you been using the bvc on the regular nautilus?

Yep, tried using the BVC on the regular nautilus for about a week with mixed results. Tried 4 different BVC coils on it. Sometimes it worked great but All of them gurgled and leaked quite a bit. Now no problems on the new mini. Doubt it matters at all, but using an evic supreme with both. Between 13 and 14 watts seems to be my sweet spot also.

Mine works fine. Are you hitting it to hard? I do a slow long draw. When was the last time you gave it a good vodka bath?

Ok, I have an interesting twist on the leak and gurgle problem, splatter by juice. Not sure how she did it but the wife was using her Nautilus mini on a Ego Twist, heard sizzling and then she said she felt a little burning droplet hit her cheek. Not sure how that is even possible but notice she hits the button before putting in her mouth. Also has problems with juice coming out air holes. The Nautilus mini is the BVC with the coil that it came with from the factory. Will try to switch it out to the other that came with it but wanted to see if any other people had been hit by juice or what she should do to prevent it. It hit close to her eye so she is a but nervous. She is back on her Mini pro tank2 for now.
She gets sizzling gurgling and popping pretty regularly on the nautilus and the mini protank whixh makes e thinkshe is doing something wrong. I took a look a the nautilus and when io too it apart there was juice in everywhere.

Been using both the 1.6 and 1.8 ohms on the regular size nautilus with excellent results. If you are getting juice leak, switch heads for a new one. My first box all leaked like a sieve, but every coil from subsequent boxes were good. You may have gotten a bad box. I contacted aspire, sent them pictures of the heads and tanks, and they offered a free box, I pay shipping, which I ordered.

I haven't tried a vodka bath, and may give that a shot. I did notice that when I rinsed the heads under warm water (changing flavors), head leaked too badly to use. that happened twice. As long as I don't wash them, they are great (after my first bad box where all heads leaked badly from the git go). Am looking for any way to clean them, but these new "carto"heads may not be cleanable. Still gonna use them though, flavor is intense and vapor production is very good.

I don't feel like you should of had to pay for shipping but I'm glad they sent you a new box of heads. I hope you've found them worth the hassle...

I just bought a Nautilus Mini for my iTaste MVP and it leaked overnight...so I'm thinking of turning the air hole dial to a closed position to see if it stops the leaking and subsequent flooding.

Other way around my friend... Open it to the biggest air inlet setting to Stop Flooding and Close off airflow with smaller settings to saturate coils. Also make sure that the pre-installed head that came in the mini is tightened down properly. Good luck--Dave

I bought the 5 ml aspire when it came out because of all the reviews saying it was great, but it burned all the time so I never used it until the bvc came out. The first one I bought didn't work at all so the guy at the store gave me a new one, this hasn't leaked at all for me and it's now my favorite tank. I can use this at 12.5 watts without any burning and tastes great after it burns off that funny taste and that doesn't take too long to get rid of.

I bought two boxes. The five in box one are perfect, box two, did not work at all. My hub buys his cigs from a store that is mostly tobacco but has some vaping supplies - bad juice, cheap batteries and coils. I was with the hub, mentioned the bad ones, he let me bring them to him, he gave me a new box and said his vendor would take care of him!

I did throw one into vodka to clean it. Soaked it overnight, it looked awful gunky in there when I first put it in, came out looking brand new. However, the vodka has really tine threads in it now, There's the usual "gunk" I would see when I used to do the same with the old dual coils, but this is like tiny hairs. Odd.
