Are batts magnectic?

The monitor is about a year old. It's a brand called Hanns.G, The guys at the computor store in St. Clould built my computer and added the monitor.
The monitor stand is sitting on a carved wooden box..(empty) next to it is another inlayed wooden box filled with pens, pencils and junk. I just moved the cartos and batts away from the side of the monitor.
Thank you Iowa..both second hand store finds.
No drift today! Yea me!

MK, I don't want to dis your monitor but I sold a few of that brand once before, only once, never again. It may just be the monitor.

You might also want to look at the cable to see if there is something interfering with the signal coming from the video card.

Lee..I don't want to hear that! Sheesh..I told hubby to buy from the store...noooo he wanted mega death..mega bytes terra bytes of storgage for me and my gazillion pictures and audio books. Oh well if this one starts driftin south..he gets to buy me a new one!
I wouldn't know a video card from a playing card..I'll need my son to check that out. Thanks.

Video cards are much heavier and bigger than a playing card Ms. MK...

Guys..I don't know which of your suggestions or if just moving my batts and cartos away from my monitor worked..but it's been over two weeks and NO Drift! I am very very happy..thanks to all of you sweet people!
