The owners retired. They were planning on selling provape to Mike (HOH), but his investors backed out because of the deeming regulations and the markets (vapers) reaction to it. People stopped buying like they were and began stocking up on mechanical mods and such, when provapes sales dropped like they did, the investors ran and took their money with them... he couldn't find anyone else to loan him the money in that environment so he never bought provape, and the owners (as they were planning) retired.
The truth is always better than rumors or stories. Thanks.

I did the verify.
Where do I find classy ?
All the verifications are done by one moderator. He has to do each one separately and he only has time to do it on Sundays. It takes a while, just be patient. I’m waiting on mine also.

A couple of years ago I wrote an article on the Provari which contains some historical and technical information about Provape and the Provari. You can find it, Why Provari?, in my blog.

I still own a couple of Provari's (2.0 version), but because my vaping demands eventually changed I now use sub-ohm tanks and RBA's exclusively. I shall always keep them as a momento to a special time in my world of vaping.

Currently using a JAC Vapour B and Segelei Fuchai 213 Plus mods with Uwell Crown 1 tanks.

so what atty and ohm coils are people using on their provaris ?

I'm using a kayfun knock-off with a 1.5 ohm coil at what would equal 8 watts? 3.6 volts? The version 2.5 is a volts only device.

Most of the Provari are suited for tootle tanks with 1-plus ohm coils. I prefer the Nauti X with a 1.8 coil on mine, but have used Triton mini's on my slant top 2.5's because they fit the top better. With the 22mm tank, there's a weird overhang if you don't have a beauty ring to fill the space. The Radius and newest tube mods could go below 1 ohm coils, but the only sub-ohm tanks I have were the Melo III mini's from the Pico kits, so I just use them on my Picos and don't have to worry about checking the power before firing off a tank and toasting a coil.

The Aspire Nautilus and Kabuki are clearomizer tanks which are in popular use with Provari if you like premade coils. These use premade coils in the 1.6 - 1.8 ohm range.

    Mini and Nautilus

    Standard and Kabuki

Many owners are also using rebuildable tank atomizers (if you make your own coils) like the Kayfuns. With rebuildables, a Provari can fire a 1.2 ohm coil, but 1.5 ohm or higher is probably best.

    Mini and Kayfun

If memory serves me right, there was only the Provari Mini 2.5.
There were V2 mini's, they don't have the rings bordering the teardrops. The changes to the regular and mini from V2-V2.5 were cosmetic only.

Anywhere from .7 ohm to 2.0 ohms, on average. It depends on what version provari you get. If you get a 2.5 you'll do fine running around 1.2 -1.4 ohms.

Good Lord, everyone should watch Bussardo’s video. Two facts become very clear. 1) It is quite obvious why they cost what they did. 2) It’s also quite obvious why they couldn’t compete with China.
My gosh, quality control on steroids. Kudos to them.
