Are there actually clones on the same level as authentic?

Also I wanted to say my rda is an infinite magma. Works flawlessly. When I bought a tobeco magma the air holes weren't even drilled all the way through so don't use that company.

It may not have been a real Tobecco. Another cloner started copying their boxes and using their name, lol! It nearly ruined their reputation for producing good clones. Pretty ironic they even counterfeit each other.

Well they all did some from the same shop which is a very large and credible local chain. Considering everything they sell there is legit including only American made juice, I think it's unlikely they are selling a clone of a clone although anything is possible. This is also the same shop I bought my authentic Tugboat.

Out of them all, the Plume Veil was the worst. The Mutation X wasn't too bad although you could tell it was the same kind of material and has the same cheap screws that don't stay secure.

Why a clone mutation? They're under $30.

If the screws are bad, get a pack of 18-8 or 304 SS from mcmaster. That's a common issue with clones AND authentics. I bought $100+ authentics with garbage for screws installed.

I replace my screws before I even build a new atty anymore.

When I bought it, I was very new to building and never researched them. I just went in the store and asked the manager for a recommendation. He ended up selling me the clone for $14. Before that, I was still using tanks.

Perhaps I will buy some screws and see if that helps. I haven't had a screw issue yet with authentics but then again, I've only bought two so far.

Yes, I suspect a lot of the screws are bought in bult from China, even for high end authentics. I often replace them.
The screws- lol a lot of the high end rebuildables themselves are made in china.

Roger that.

Yeah, definitely get an assortment of atty screws.

Here's some of my assortment...

Well FT sells everything, good and bad. An $8 mod from FastTech is not going to be perfect, wether it is authentic or clone. It is going to use parts that warrant the $8 price. But a $50 clone made out of copper (or other quality metal) with good machnining is about reasonable. You can expect that the $50 went in to using some lasting parts. And still save a ton of money when the authentic is $250+. At this pricepoint, the $50 clone could even have more precise machining, better threading, lower voltage drop.

But if any vendor starts selling mods and atties with regular prices of $1 each, or even $0.50 each... this is the kind of purchase to make if you have the need for low quality spare parts.

I don't really want to say the "you get what you pay for", because for that $250 authentic device, you really don't.
But there is a critical threshold where a mod or atty can't be manufactured any cheaper without sacrificing materials used or time spent. The $5 mods and atomizers on FastTech are below that threshold... they can probably be expected to last as long or longer than a pack of cigarettes though. And a pack of cigarettes would cost more than $5 for most people.

Wasn't there are slight issue with a famous modder making his atties on a same factory FT bought it's clones from?
Can't remember which atty it was, though.
There are quite a few vendors sellin stuff which they get made in China for them like eXpromizer.

I wish I would have gotten it 2 months ago but I just bought my first setup a authentic ragnaroc mod and the Aqua v2 by tobeco and a orchid v3 by tobeco

All runs flawlessly thread perfectly hits perfectly

Although don't get me wrong I don't have authentic rtas or rdas to compare to I can't complain for the proformance I get from these

Unlike authentics there are many levels of clones only a few company's do a good job so research is vital in getting the best which is rarely if ever the cheapest. My vapocalypse preparation hardware wise was getting a mech I like box mods so when a friend of mine let me borrow his authentic Dimitri I was sold, I started looking online prepared to pay for an authentic when he told me that of the three Dimitri's he had only one was authentic he put all three on a table and asked me to spot the clones. I failed I picked the authentic two times out of three and I was just guessing as they were identical he then gave me the link to the ivogo clone on fasttech which I bought and it is every bit as good as the authentic but massively cheaper.

The Dimitri is the only clone I own but showed me that autheñtic isn't the be all of vaping and you CAN get as good for a lot less money.
