2 Cockatiels, 2 Gerbils, and 2 Dogs. :) Oh, and my moms budgie is staying with us for a while too.
Oreo is a mix terrier. She was a side of the road, half-dead, rescue. Spayed and in her forever home.

Daisy is my boxer.... hunted all over for a white one from a reputable breeder. Hubby has wanted a white boxer his whole life. She is spayed. (white boxers are more prone to being deaf and are usually sold with a spay/neuter clause.)

Holly and Meena are my feathered kids. Meena was SUPPOSED to be a girl according to the previous owner, but turned out to be male. Caused quite a stir. Had to sell my massive flight cage & downgrade to two average cages. Sad day.

The gerbils... yeah, the boys have a lot more bedding in there now.... and they started chewing the plastic train so it had to go in the trash.

cracker he is darling....I bet you are a proud fur parent!!!

Yep. We are. This is the first dog my GF and I have had in our adult lives, and having a puppy is a lot of work. He's great though, and we were so proud today when he rang the "outside bell" (twice) we put by the door so he can let us know when its time to go potty.

Smart little bugger.

We taught our last dog to do that, which turned out to be a bad idea.

My wife thought she would never learn, and thought I was nuts.
But it took less than one day.

Then she started ringing it whenever she felt like going outside, which was like every 30 minutes.
So we had to take the bell down.

We later moved to a place with a backyard, and installed a doggie door.

Our fur babies want a treat when they come inside. They look so insulted if we forget to give them one, too! I wish we did have a doggie door, but I think they would wear it out in no time--but at least they might forget about the treats once in awhile!
