for the past couple of weeks i've been vaping away like usual, wondering am i addicted to the nicotine or the taste of the vape.

Last night i conducted an experiment, I made my favorite e-liquid (watermelon with 2 drops of menthol) with out the nicotine, started vaping with 510 LR atty, I couldn't believe it, i love the taste to this liquid that the nicotine didn't matter. Now mind you, i am new to vaping, started feb 11, been vaping 18 - 20 mg of nicotine, but for some reason i cant explain to you i don't miss the nicotine when i have this eliquid.

Any one feel like this?

No, I went from 3 packs a day straight to vaping. I started at 36 mg, and the lowest I can go is 24 without flipping a lid. Even at 24, I just vape more and go through 6+ml a day. Kind of counter productive. I did mix some 8mg stuff and experimented on getting the TH back with PGA and higher voltage, just didn't satisfy.

For me it's the nic but I congratulate you and hope the 0mg works out for you. I started at 36mg, went to 24 and that's where I pretty much stay although I can do 18. Any lower than that and I get in the chain vaping status.

I can use 24mg off and on all day when needed and don't go through that much liquid, under 3ml a day...sometimes under 2. I have no doubt if I went to say 12 I'd be using it at least twice as much.

Try that same experiment when you first get up and you may find a different result. Nicotine demand is higher when you first get up and usually lower as the day/nicotine consumption progresses. I find that I reach a saturation point and at the end of a day I can vape 0mg but I need that kick in the A.M.

I admit I am addicted to nicotine, but I'm slowly lowering my levels, hoping to someday get down to 0. I think I will be able to do it, 'cuz I just LOVE the taste of my juices. I've already had to lower my main nick level due to constant vaping, so shaving off a couple mg every month won't be a problem. I'll keep some higher stuff around for stressful times, though.

I have to have both but have been trying to cut my mg level and I'm now ok with 18mg after vaping for a long time now. You didn't say how heavy of a smoker you where Badnam, some that where light smokers and who haven't smoked for years find it much easier to cut back to lower MG's I believe and cut the Nic all together over people that have been smoking say 2+ packs a day for 25 yrs. Everyone is different depending on there dependency level of Nic I also believe. Try not having any Nic from the time you wake up in the AM and see how long you can go and see what happens, if you where a long time heavy smoker you probably won't last as long as you may think, if you where a light smoker on the other hand it may not be an issue for you.

That's a rhetorical question, right?

I've been vaping today and started the day at 6 am, out with 0 nic, now i am not going to lie by 11 am i need a nic fix but the rest of the time i am at 0 nic, because i think i am just addicted to the action, even when i was smoking analogs, i was only smoking 4-6 cigs a day.

I'd love to drop down to low/no nic. If anyone ever comes up with a way to cheaply and accurately replicate a nicotine throat hit, I'll be first in line. I'm pretty sure my nicotine addiction is far lower than it was on cigarettes, so it wouldn't be too much of a hurdle physiologically speaking.

I heard there was a liquid called "Qhit" but haven't tried it yet but for me i was smoking 1/2 PAD somewhere around there, started with 18mg then suddenly ended up with 24-36mg idk why but i guess it was the TH i was craving+flavor..

I'm like you, in that I only smoked between 3 and 10 cigarettes per day, usually around 5 though.
I don't think I was particularly addicted to the nicotine even then.

Right now, I am addicted to the following things that smoking used to offer me...
--An excuse to take a break
--An excuse to get away from situations
--An opportunity to get away with my thoughts
--Satisfying a need to keep my hands busy
--Satisfying a need to keep my mouth busy

But I used to be able to go entire days without smoking and not even think twice about it.
And now I can go a couple of days without vaping and not think twice about it.

But I started with, and will continue to use 12mg strength juice.
Because at this point, I actually believe that a little nicotine is better for you than having no nicotine at all.

When I was smoking analogues I couldn't go more than a couple hours without a smoke. Now that I've been using a PV for two years I can go hours, even days without vaping. My addiction is to the habit now, not the nicotine. In fact, I have yet to be convinced that the PV delivers a significant amount of nicotine at all, even with the highest nic level liquids.

I know what you mean, I've never got the nic rush I used to get with the first cig I had in the morning even using 36 mg I'm now using about 6 mg home made juice and don't notice the difference.
The rush people are talking about with the first morning cigarette is usually caused by carbon monoxide.
