It seems to me most vapers don't get that morning feeling from vaping.

On the other hand, maybe there is more than one morning feeling that people are talking about.
I know there is the slightly dizzy, morning rush that I used to get from the carbon monoxide, and I don't get that now.

Maybe some people are talking about some other kind of morning feeling I'm not familiar with.

Yeah, it really is different for each individual. I used to roll out of bed and "virtual chain smoke" my PV, but as time wore on my desire to do that diminished to the point of nonexistence. I'd say that me experience with it was a moving target for at least the first 12 months as my health got better and better and my desire to hammer the PV constantly got less and less pronounced. How long have you been using one, nerak?

Try that same experiment when you first get up and you may find a different result. Nicotine demand is higher when you first get up and usually lower as the day/nicotine consumption progresses. I find that I reach a saturation point and at the end of a day I can vape 0mg but I need that kick in the A.M.

This is SO me. Later i nthe day I can way step down, but like coffee, I NEED a nic fix in the am.

I heard there was a liquid called "Qhit" but haven't tried it yet but for me i was smoking 1/2 PAD somewhere around there, started with 18mg then suddenly ended up with 24-36mg idk why but i guess it was the TH i was craving+flavor..

This is an additive and not a straight juice. Its made by FlavorArt, Italy. I was an ultra light smoker so not a huge fan of the TH some are after and consequently have not had the compulsion to mess around with it much. a drop or two of Vodka or PGA can assist with that just the same.

For me, it's the nicotine, I can guarantee you it's not the flavor because more than 50% of the time I vape un-flavored. If I don't vape I have weird dreams about smoking..usually the dream is about being desperate for an analog and not being able to find one. If I vape I don't have those nutty dreams. I vape 24mg probably 4ml a day, sometimes if I get a headache I drop to 18mg but lower than that I start getting all antsy and out of sorts.

I don't know. I was a 25 year 35 cig/day smoker, and now vape 18mg homebrew. I find that the 18mg is not enough in the am, just about right for most of the day, and WAY too much in the evenings. I chain vape in the evenings just because I like the flavour, and most nights I end up feeling a bit sick from the nicotine.

I think I'm going to make some "Morning Brew" at 24mg, keep my all day at 18mg, and make some really light 6mg or so for the evenings. Maybe even less would be better, I could do 0mg to chain vape but keep my 18 or 24 close by when I need a top up of nic.

I know I'm not quite doing it right yet, especially in the evenings. I just can't not chain vape my lime cordial or senior mint. They are like being able to snack on junk food non-stop. I'm at least as addicted to the flavour and ritual as I am to the nicotine, something I could never have said about cigarettes. With cigarettes I was all about the nic, couldn't stand the flavour.

For what it's worth, I vape around 7ml/day, most of it in the evening.

I apologize if i offended anyone, not trying to rub it in, but i do want congratulate everyone on ECF and all the other vapor forums for quitting analogs. That in itself is a big achievement, we all know how hard it is to quit, I know i have tried the gum, cold turkey, pills, carrots, celery, toothpicks, anything.

I wish you all the best for lowering your nic levels to 0, and i too am going to strive for the same, as it seems for me, i am more addicted to watermelon TH but 2 to 4 times in a day i need my nic vape also.

I test myself all the time. I've been doing a blind study (kinda) since I started smoking.

I have a few bottles of 0 nic juice. Sometimes i'll fill up a carto without looking at the Nic level.

I'll go the whole day without nicotine and still feel good. "it's all in your head mannn"

But sometimes I do get a little edgy if I go past a day with the 0 nic. I was also a half a pack a day smoker, so my nicotine intake before I started vaping wasn't INCREDIBLY high, not sayin half a pack doesn't have a decent amount of nicotine tho.....

I started e-cigs Feb 11, 2011. Have not smoked a cigarette since. I smoked one pack a day.

Definitely addicted to nicotine and apparently, all the other 3000 chemicals that go into an analog cig. Its good to know there are so many of us in the same situation. (Which is what makes ECF so cool to me) I thought there was something wrong with my PV, juice, technique or all of the above. Just was used to a higher dose of nic AND all those other crummy chemicals in analogs. Using from 11 to 18 mg of nic when starting out did almost nothing that I could feel aside from the fact that vaping took a bit of the edge off my withdrawl symptoms. That was good all by itself so, combined with the placebo effect, I smoked fewer analogs! Tried some 24mg Dekang that came with my eGo kit a few days ago and it definitely makes a difference. I am happy to report that I have not smoked a single analog in 4 days!!!!! Ultimately, I want to get down to 0 nic and quit being addicted at all. As I am the type of person who gets hooked on stuff, I could be inclined to substitute one addiction for another. Its fine that I don't love the flavors of e-juice in general (other than those first dozen hits off a freshly-filled carto of my favorites - they are kinda awesome) So, I gotta be a bit careful there too.

Peace!
Dave
