Interested to know, if anyone started vaping with nicotine and did not formerly smoke, is now addicted to nicotine? If you, or anyone you know, has been through this, please share!

I certainly hope you don't get any responses from total non-smokers that are now addicted to nicotine. That would be a shame. Vaping for me is only an alternative to an already well established cigarette addicton. This is not a passtime or hobby to me nor should it be to anyone who isn't already hooked on tobacco.

That was my first thought when I saw the thread. Not good. Considering this is an addiction, just like any other. It didn't happen overnight, it was an acquired addiction, intentional. And i would as well hope there's no one out there that thinks this addiction would be something to get into.

Agreed, a big mistake. But then again, I read that 5000 people start smoking every day. I have a feeling that if these 5000 folks think smoking is a good idea, some of them are going to think that vaping is a better idea.

I hope that is not the case as well. Zero nic is available to those that would like to vape. I smoked for almost 30 years (and I am still young!!!)

I was able to quit because of PureSmoker! It has been over 10 months for me and over a year for my Mom who is 62 years young. I stalked this forum and found Steve from Puresmoker!!! I emailed some questions and he responded right away. :)

My Mom's order came on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving last year. She was sooooo happy that their was an option to "smoke" without all the horrible chemicals!!!! :D

I would have NEVER had the success I have had without PS!!! LOVE my 2 Prodigy's and Proteges!!!! Can't wait for the next version to be released!

Yea I know that young people are starting to smoke every day. I wish I had never taken that first one and I hope we can keep the new young smokers to a minimum. But part of growing up is rebellion and experimentation. It seems that there is no successful guidance to the young. I thought as a parent I could help my child from making the same mistakes I had but it just doesn't work that way. They experience things from running head on into them. Our warnings are ignored. But, we have to keep trying I guess.

I know a beautiful lady that smoked years ago. I took up vaping about 2 months and it stopped my analog habit. Totally vape now.. High nic, low nic, no nic... whatever the mood. This beautiful lady was very curious and tried my 801, well a couple weeks later, i made her a 801 kit and she very much enjoys the little rush from the nic.. She's a responsible person, teacher and all around great person. I am reading many of you on here that are saying this is a bad thing... Think a little, your not a alcoholic, drug attic etc.. etc... You are off of analogs. My point is what really is so bad about casual nic usage.. I also have seen as i am sure you have a certain college professional being interviewed and replying how nic usage is not a totally bad thing...
Boy will I get reamed on this one.. ha...
But really, someone could come up to any of us and say, ok when are you giving this habit up.. I for one enjoyed smoking but knew it was deadly.. so was able to stop.. Believe it or not i wake up looking forward to vaping throughout the day.. Simulating something that kept me comfortable and happy most of my life.. So i see it that way...
I guess to each his or her's own...
