I can't afford to make it a hobby. However, I believe I will always have something to vape close at hand for times of e temptation/emotional crisis.
Wow! You must have been smoking some VERY cheap cigarettes then!
The hardware can *seem* expensive, even if you are careful to purchase stuff that is designed to last a long time and reduce daily maintenance costs (like DIY, juice, RBAs, etc.) but for me the cost was still far less than buying cigarettes every month instead... not to mention future health costs.
RE: the original topic... It's been a hobby of sorts for me for the last four years, even though I've gone back to smoking a time or two in the past. I've smoked almost two thirds of my life so the "hand-mouth" habit is very well ingrained in who I am, as is the curiosity of trying that next new flavor or device. I'm like that with computers, stereo equipment and digital cameras too so I guess I knew what I was getting into when I snubbed out my last cigarette over two weeks ago
Down from 36mg which I used to quit immediately, to 24mg, which was good for the week following it (I still take 24mg with me if I am at a party or out on the town), 18mg has become my strength of choice for "all day vaping" and I've started moving towards 12mg already. Will I eventually reach zero? Sooner or later! How soon? I really don't care.
