I respect Innokin more than most.

Me too, but it's been awhile since I've been interested in their offerings.

I got mail saying The ZFO now has Ares for sale.

My guess is that now the sale weekend is over they will be showing up at more vendors.

Sometimes I wonder if these Chinese Companies have any Engineers on staff at all, or just somebody with an Idea, and WaLa, a New Atomizer comes to market. ;)

Yes they do. And they are good. Joyetech, Kangertech, Innokin, Wismec (and others) make very good mods and atomizers and are always trying to improve--just notice how many versions 2 and 3 of almost every product they release. They pay attention to consumer feedback (and to online reviews) and make changes accordingly. I have had several email exchanges with their representatives in the past and found them to be willing to listen to my concerns and suggestions.

I would definitely add Aspire to that list as the Nautilus will forever be one of the greats IMO.
They are a good company; I always like their mods, never cared for their atomizers. Maybe it's about to change! :)
I would add Aspire and eLeaf to the list I respect because the Nautilus will go down as one of the greatest of all time and the iStick was an innovative step.

I'm with you on Innokin atties, iClear could get some killer flavor but always struggled with issues... at least for me.

Eleaf is a subsidiary (or some other relative) of Joyetech, so I consider it a part of Joyetech--and yes, I agree.

Ah, Aspire. :) I have a long history with Aspire wrt their shredding ceramic (fiberglass?) wicks. ;) Long threads, emails, etc. Eventually, they did abandon the idea and switched to Japanese cotton! Yup, they listened. :thumb:

They did (not sure that ceramic hysteria wasn't overhyped fear but that's me and I can understand people not trusting it for sure).

But, absolutely, they did listen to the user base and switched over.

I've got an original Innoken Itazte MVP (11W), circa 2012, and the thing seems bulletproof. I wasn't vaping at the time I got it - had to confiscate it from my son. An unauthorized purchase, long story. But he used it for a while, and it was my mod when restarting to vape this year, before I bought a newer, smaller one. It's still my backup (I don't buy a lot of mods), but I can only use it when my build is .85 ohm or higher, because it won't fire lower than that. When I resurrected from a desk drawer after about 4 years, the thing still had a charge on it. I couldn't believe it. Still holds a charge forever today, and it's built like a bank safe. I've used it to charge my phone on the road. Checking ohms on a build against my Zelos, it's still dead on. And I still kind of like the hit counter. As I understand it, they were pretty much ahead of the game back then, and this really seems like a quality piece of equipment.

I've got two of those (V2). Those things refuse to die. I don't use them anymore--just trying to figure out what to do with them. Recycle?

PIF candidates, maybe, Katya...I'm guessing you already converted all the smokers you know! At least those that are convertible. :) I think they make a great starter mod - can't get much simpler or more reliable.

By the way, I've wondered this: when I say your name in my head, do I say Kattyuh or Katy A.? Not that you could hear me mispronounce it in there (I hope- at least not when I wear my tinfoil hat!).
