    Finally got some time to get 1 cleaned, coiled,wicked and filled and just love this tank so far, I've only been vaping it for about 1/2 hour and it's hitting all the check marks great. Most important, flavor is nice and defined, air flow very smooth, and it's a true MTL tank. Wicking is perfect so far with 50/50 juice, I get a bubble after every vape.View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649] View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649 View attachment 703649 dupView attachment 703649 dup
    Don't know what happened there.

    I just soaked it in hot soapy water for 15 minutes, good rinse off and was good to go ;)

    That doesn't really surprise me any, being pretty clean out of the box, as Phil would sometimes comment that the atomizer he was reviewing had machine oil in it and had to be washed first, and would put that as a "Thumbs Down" at the end of his video.

    If I may ask;
    Where are ya'll buying your Ares from, and at what prices are you paying ?? I might be getting a Christmas present from my Wife ?? I Hope, I Hope, I Hope.

    I got mine from Dashvapes. It should arrive on 12/7. All prices are in Canadian, but it’s converted on the site easily. They ship to the US, and their customer service replied to my email question within minutes.

    Edit- I believe they were $38

    But it comes with black and white O rings, too... ;)

    @VictorC, what mechanism opens and closes the sliding top cap? Does it lock by that silicone around the fill port? My questions come from wondering just how long before the sliding cap starts loosening up - possibly in a purse or pocket. :eeks:

    PS. That's a cute touch!

    The bromance continues...

    Got mine from myvaporstore, ordered Nov 27th, came yesterday, and paid $34.09 shipped, will probably order at least 2 more, but probably order from a china site if the price a lot better, as won't be in such a rush to get the others :)

    After using Ares for couple days I can comfortably say - it's excellent MTL RTA.
    Everything from packaging, labeling, spares to the tank itself is high quality, on par (if not better) with way more expensive products.
    Excellent design, simple yet very effective. Nothing earthshattering but a lot of small things done right. With suspended (sky) deck I am not getting any gurgling or flooding or dry hits. AFC ring rotation is perfect, not too tight not too loose. Ares is definitely better in these regards than Berserker. The draw is very customizable. You can make it almost tight as Berserker or airy as Kayfun, which may have appeal to a broader audience.
    The vape quality. I used this tank side by side with Berserker and Kayfun Prime and, again, can comfortably say that vape quality is very good. Quiet, saturated, clean/crisp flavour. Is it better than the other two? Probably not, all three are very similar and yet slightly different.

    Ares is great for someone who is new to building. The package comes with everything you need including easy to follow manual. Innokin/Phil also provide excellent online tutorials how to build it, troubleshoot, etc.

    So overall I am happy with Ares, well done Phil, Dimi and Innokin!
