Cigatron, the build your recommending... Should I do verts or horizontal? Couple other things also I noticed this build has 0.8 mm of spacing between each wrap.... Could I accomplish this spacing with a 8-32 machine screw? Do I need to skip a thread in between each wrap or between every thread wrap the wire...? Also with the total leg length of 8mm does that mean 2mm for each leg and does roughly 2mm need to be out visible going into each post?

Thanks for the help...I really appreciate it :)

Ordered mine for VapeNW yesterday. Hope it comes quickly but with the holidays I doubt it will... Oh well.

You won't be disappointed, the flavor is tremendous. If the airholes in the tank don't line up wirh the center of the build deck, hail us here, there's a couple of easy ways to fix that. If you don't like the silicone afc ring there's a couple of easy fixes for that too. I love new shiny things.

Try a horz build first, it's easier to wick and build.
I wind all my spaced coils on a 6-32 machine screw just following the threads as I go. It ends up about 2.8mm ID with 26g. With your 22g the ID would be closer to 3mm and the spaces between the wires will be closer, no probs. An 8-32 screw would give you the same spacing but a much larger ID. Not sure how large cuz 6-32 is as large as I've needed for up to 125w on any atty. In any case, leave the screw in the coil when mounting. It helps with maintaining coil symmetry.

Set the coils centered between the inside edge of the outside deck flange and the screw posts. It doesn't matter if they are slightly outboard more or inboard more, just try to put both coils in the same position. Height wise, center the coil between the upper and lower post screws. Left to right, center the coils on the airflow holes of the tank. Coil leg length takes care of itself. 8mm per coil (4mm each leg) is just a guestimation on my part for Steam Engine data. I'll post some pics here in a few.

Edit: your build would work fine as a contact coil as well. It would require less power and fire faster too. Only drawback?, less wick life.

New build today. Trying to get this atty to work to my liking. 28N80/36K1 6 wraps on 2.5mm. .44ohms. Really nice at 60W. I'm trying to like this thing, really am.

I really like 3mm ID verticals. And they give you more airflow.

Congrats on your new shiny. Shoot us some pics.
Sorry, no pics. I like it, but one of the screw holes in the deck is jacked. I tried one of the spare hex screws in it, but it's crossed threaded or something. I'll have to contact VapeNW for a replacement, but it's workin' okay for now.

They were having troubles when I ordered mine with USPS not doing scans of the packages, so I had no tracking info on mine. I live <25 miles from their locale and it was delivered two days later.

Oh, and enjoy it when it does arrive! One of the better purchases I've made. :)

My silver aromamizer arrived yesterday, I haven't gotten to put a build in yet but noticed it's pretty darn clean, not smelling any machine oil, is it safe to use out of the box or should I clean it anyway?

I have actually never received an atty with machine oil in it. I just use them straight out the box. But most on here will say you should clean it out anyway, just in case.
