Mmm. Seems to be a pattern the more I try to look for better flavor systems: everything that qualifies is from last year or before. Guess that's the 2015 cloud-heavy sub-ohm train in action there.
So in any case the Aromamizer is in competition with *some* RDAs for flavor, but not among the best of the best? I guess that's about what I was expecting. The drip-like setup without having to actually drip is really appealing to me, I dig the engineering a lot. I just don't wanna commit to spending even more money and end up semi-bummed by the flavor profile again, though I suppose the 2-hole airflow ring and new deck might help with that. And maybe my whole "taste is blah on everything" routine is gonna be gone in a few months once my smoker's nose disappears anyway, who knows.

looks like a wire cutter! can anyone that has experience with the new deck share their thoughts?
I've been enjoying my aromamizer/snow wolf combo for the last few weeks and I was seriously considering adding the velocity style deck to the mix until I saw this pic. I've ran 24g, 26g, claptons and 28g kanthal on my original deck. I prefer the 28g on mine and fear that that new deck would clip the heck out of anything less than 24 gauge.
Just got my Velocity deck yesterday. I put Claptons in so I don't know if the screws would cut thin wire, sorry.
I was thinking the same thing as i was taking it out of the package, but i have yet to clip a wire yet. My first build was 4 32 gauge wires twisted to gather. Was trying to put quads in the new deck. Didn't work the way i wanted so i ended up pulling it out.. second build was 28 gauge nickle wire. I used the top holes for both coils, and didn't cut any leads. I didn't even have to sand the grubs.. so far so good zero cut leads. I have only had it for a day.
I think the flavor from a nickle build in this tank is phenomenal! Best tank i have had yet. My past tanks where Lemo Drop, Goliath, and a mini Erl. The Fasttech version.

Ok, the folks at Focusecig are sending me the missing part for the Skyfall, so stay tuned. I think they're sending it DHL so should be pretty quick.
Have been using the deck with nickel without issues. I'm frequently using it on 30g-standard and also 32g-twisted nickel. No snapped wire so far and the vape have been awesome.
There're concerns that the drilled-thru grub screw holes can cause the wire to snap. I've not have any issues in that. The important factor is that you only need to apply gentle pressure when screwing until it's firmly secure.
I wonder why my stuff clears customs faster than most? I was the first to get my Urba and a few things now.

I still haven't bought the 2 post deck, I've been doing just fine with the 3 post. I've got it down now with my dual 5 wrap Clapton coils and doubt I ever change the setup because it vapes great.

It's hard to do that when it comes to vape stuff, there's always something new coming out. I'm just glad I'm not into temp control, they are pumping those suckers out left and right.If it works and vapes well...it's ok to maintain it.
Evolve has that 200 watt board now and that's just nuts. I can do a 7 wrap Clapton dual coil on a 3mm bit in my velocity at 150 watts but it just runs thru batteries so fast, I'm constantly dripping at that wattage and blowing thru juice. If I didn't make my own juice I'd have to vape 6mg because at 3mg I go thru almost 30ml a day
