In order to single coil it I think you'll need to get creative with wicking or its going to leak. And you'll have to tape up that airhole even with the 2 hole band.

This actually worked
I thought there wouldn´t be enough thread to keep the screw but there were. Not sure how long they work cause there´s not much of that thread and the the screws are bent upwards after tightening.I think even filing the screw heads helped a bit, ends were very sharp.
Instead of tape just cut little pieces of an right sized o-ring and plug the holes with that. They are barely noticeable if cut straight.
Here´s a pic of it and my build, claptons 26/36g. Left air channel is plugged if it´s not clear.
That's what I use and it fits in the 3 post deck just fine

I don't know why but lately I've been having trouble getting my tank off of my box mod.
I'm trying to get the section off so I can fill it and it doesn't want to come off, the whole thing comes off.
I try not to over tighten it when I put it on because it really hurts my hands when I go to take it off.
Any ideas? Like a o ring swap it something?
I still don't have the top section off yet lol

Not sure if this is the case but it may be due to the expanded orings due to heat. Let it cool down a bit before removing.
It's been sitting for about 4 hours now and won't come off, I've had this happen a few times now but its been doing this a lot lately.

If I understand you right, you're trying to leave the deck ON the mod while you remove the tank section? If so, this is highly discouraged, as you're really just over-tightening the atty onto your mod. The tank should be screwed onto the deck MUCH tighter than the atty should be screwed onto your mod.
Just take the whole atty off when you refill.
Atty comes off the mod just fine, I can't get the tank section apart from the deck section

If it were cross threaded I can't imagine it possibly being tightened enough to ever hold juice.
It's definitely not cross threaded. The knurling isn't that pronounced so its hard to get a good grip on it with my arthritis hands

I dropped one of my Roses. The plastic tank jumped threads so bad that atty was bent at an angle. It held the juice.

To block wick holes just use a wooden tooth pick end and plug the sides that you don't want to use. Been doing that on my 3 post deck for single coil build and works like a charm and easy maintenance just obvious case if I change my mind in future...
