You do know the build deck unscrews and you can just screw it in tighter or a little looser to position the coils however you want. And just to add my two cents, I actually prefer the indirect airflow because the way it's angled, two holes end up crossing over the coil. I understand some people aren't happy with the air flow, but its such an easy fix without having to alter the tank or unscrew the bottom. Just try unscrewing the build deck slightly and you can position the coils however you'd like..
That makes the ohms jump all over the place if you unscrew it just a tiny bit too much.

That doesn't happen on mine when I unscrew the deck a bit. Try screwing the V-deck to the base really, really tight, that could be causing your issues.
No I got it fixed. That was what was causing it, when I loosened it just a little bit ohms would jump all over the place. It was more pronounced on my X Cube 2 than my Evic VT though so that's weird. But yeah, loosening the deck from the base causes ohms to jump and/or unstable connection.

Mine was just delivered, hooray!! Unfortunately I drive a truck for a living and won't be home until Friday..... Ugh!! :-(

Congrats on having competent USPS personnel in your area. My last two packages, one from China, and one from Honolulu both made their trip from across the world/Pacific only to fall into some 4th dimension within 3 miles of my mailbox.:grr::grr::grr:

That's crazy! [HASHTAG]#13741[/HASHTAG] just showed up. Much later batch than my [HASHTAG]#3614[/HASHTAG] I got directly from Steam Crave. Not much has changed besides the drip tip is a tiny bit bigger the new one fits way more snug in my old aromamizer and the new one and all the chimneys so I know its the drip tip. Oh and the engravings are darker/ deeper. Other than that, the airholes were aligned straight at my cotton tails so I was getting no airflow until I sanded the tank down just a tad. Now its a perfect vape.
I also got a nano kit from eciggity and I find the vapor to be a little warmer/ tastier than the 6ml version but maybe it is my build.

I use a metal file, just one I had in my tool box but I assume you can use sandpaper as well. It doesn't take me much filing at all, it gives way rather easily.
Try putting it on the sandpaper and scrubbing it around on it in small circles. Then make sure your deck is screwed in tight to the base, and screw the base in often to check your position.

Well I was doubtful about the reviewer getting it up to 160 watts even though I really think he's for "real".
So I made some claptons and stuck 'em in there, I only went to 85 watts but "holy moley"
The fused clapton wire got here today. It can handle around 80 watts easy in the aromamizer, I haven't went higher yet though.

Hi,

I've got to know about this last week. Am still trying to understand if I'll be liking it. I started off using kanger subtank mini v2 and went off to Velocity RDA, mainly due to the reviews giving best rating to the flavoring it gives. While the velocity still work wonder for me, I would still go back to the subtank purely for convenience when travelling. But having watched the reviews over on this, I am keen to getting one but undecided on below factors:
1. Does this RDTA provide more airflow than subtank? - I'm the direct lung inhale vaper
2. Does anyone who own 3ml and 6ml find any difference in the flavor/vapor it generates?
3. My understanding on the size of the 510 driptip are the same (subtank vs this RDTA). Am I right to say I should be able to use the subtank's driptip for this RDTA?

I would appreciate if anyone can provide some feedback to the above.

Thanks in advance.

Yes to 1, it has miles more airflow than the subtank, so much so that most of us use the 2-hole vape band to cut the airflow in half, if not more.

I can't speak firsthand for 2, but other people have said in this thread and elsewhere that they notice a mild improvement in flavor for the 3ml.

And yep for 3 as well. I started out on the subtank mini, too, and it's the drip tip I use in nearly everything, including the Aromamizer.

Thanks Tedigram!

I'm placing my order with steam crave since they are providing free shipping and velocity pole as addon which suits me well.

One additional question that cross my mind, not that it affects me since im only using kanthal currently but would be good to know, does it require a different deck from the standard one if i were to use nickel/tc wires for coiling?

I was on their page last night and saw that they where out of stock until November 5th. Did you see something different?

Not that I'm aware of. I'm not into TC myself, but from what I understand the only thing that would flat out preclude a tank from being used for TC is a spotty electrical connection leading to inconsistent resistance readings, and on that front the Aromamizer is fine. As long as the coil screws and deck itself is screwed down properly the resistance is rock solid in my experience. I'm pretty sure people have talked about nickel and titanium builds earlier in the thread with no issues, too.
