I'm sure this has been brought up countless times before but I just ordered an aromamizer, 3ml and was wondering why some people are having problems with the air holes not lining up with their coils. Will mine have this problem? Is there a workaround to this issue?

Depends on what you consider an "issue". It will more than likely come with indirect airflow, a coil between two air holes getting airflow from two directions, but some people here prefer one hole over the coil and one facing a negative post. I'd recommend trying it how it comes, and if you don't like it you can back track in the thread for sanding instructions. I personally run vertical coils and the indirect airflow is my preference.

I just received mine and threw in a twisted 26ga dual coil build into it. Once I got the wires glowing correctly I removed the coils, wicked them and re-installed them (saw this method on a Rip Trippers video).
Works great and tastes great so far!

I did that the first few times I did verts, but I ended up just twisting the cotton, pulling it from top to bottom, and cutting off the twisted part and tucking. You'll just need some tweezers. It's way faster and works good

Do any of you running single coil feel like it would be a good idea to fill the area on the opposite side to eliminate all that free space?? I ran a single coil in my MT, it has just a wick plug. I didn't like that vape at all. I ran my Bellus in single, the plug blocks the wick holes, the airholes, and also completely fills the void where the second coil would have been. It was remarkably better... I haven't tried the aroma in single coil, just a thought.

No you do not have to fill the void are, just cover the juice flow holes. But again I'm going to recommend building the coil between the posts and running the cotton to both wicking wells.

Thanks for clearing that up... I just thought perhaps reducing the chamber size by 50 percent when you remove 1/2 of the coils it might keep things in the proper ratios... good to know, I'm not a single coiler, but I might give it another shot.. (I do have single coil tanks I like)

When I turn the top of my tank to line 2 holes direct on the coil, I push the 4 hole band to the bottom of the tank. The 2 hole band then goes right above that. The lower bsnd keeps the tank from spinning...
My tank has airflow that crosses the coils, I turn the tank tight when I want a lot of airflow/ when I'm running a hot build... The other 90 percent of the time I turn the top of the tank and run 2 hole band

hi john
never tried that . allways left the holes in the other side open .. and no cotton cover either .never had a problem w dryhits or flooding . using 4 strands 34 g twisted ..7 wraps now at 1.4 ohms ..horizontal coil w the cotton ( k a1 )
just cut the ends and leave them long enouf to touch the bottom . then spread the two tails a bit to let air flow through it .only use one airhole open . pointed at the coil.vaping at 18 watts now . for me its a perfect vape now.
but we all like it different . one thing for sure you have the perfect atty to experiment with .

Was able to convince the local post office guy to sift through the unsorted mail just before closing time to retrieve my Aromamizer today. :mail:

First build was 3mm 5 wrap 26g ss reading .15 on my Mini+.

Was very impressed with the flavor but somewhat disappointed in vapor production. That is until I rewicked and trimmed the majority of the tails. This removed some airflow restriction and it now produces far more vapor than my Goblins and Zephyrus. This while limited to the 50w of the Mini+.:thumb:

Looking forward to trying it on my soon to be delivered RX200. Will likely rebuild on a 2.5mm mandrel to see if it allows even more airflow.

Anyone on the fence about this tank should hump their dumpty on down and get one.

The "steam crave fans club" page. Facebook.com/groups/steamcrave should be the link.

Their fb page is currently ninja status cause they are doing a giveaway for the group at the moment. Also Maggie did confirm vapenw is authorized dealer now that they finally replied to her messages

What's the giveaway for? Apparently I only liked the Steam Crave page and didn't join the "fan club". :(
