I think we have moved into "no news is good news" territory. Any time the police come to ask questions or share info, we lose or sheet thinking THIS will be the most dreaded visit. Hasnt been though...so that's a good thing.

It's funny you mention that, I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure the size of River Falls, WI but I would think they've searched any possible...areas of interest. Would have thought they would have found something by now if anything bad happened. Still keeping y'all in my thoughts and hope there is good news one of these days.

Was wondering if the police put out a bulletin to pull the vehicle over if spotted? I know it's a strange question to ask, just hoping for a good outcome for those involved asap.

RF is about 16k population size. College town so slightly bigger when school is in session. Not big though. If he was in town we'd now within minutes....even without the publicity and hoopla over things.

I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but maybe post a link to stories and/or pictures? There's a LOT of members here and we're all over. One of my sons used to take off for Norfolk, VA every once in awhile in his late teens and he'd just call when he got there.

I read the article for your friends missing young man... wonderful pictures btw. im glad to see they listed his plate numbers to his vehicle. i would suspect it will reduce the number of misleading calls of random similar truck sightings so the police dont get bogged down following leads that are to the wrong vehicle.

i have sent a copy of the link to my family living in the twin sities area (the whole paternal side of my family lives in and around that area) so they can keep an eye out for him as well as pass the link onto their friends. i know i dont get my local paper or watch the local news. a link to their inboxes may be the only way some people will know to look for him.
