AHA! So yet MORE letters and acronymicals. Geeze, I'm just calling them the Kanger Sub coils, maybe even Subs, for short!

I know... I don't need a sub-ohm coil--but I'm very curious about the 1.2Ω one. I'll wait for Phil to take it apart. :D

Welp, they look to be Kanger's answer to the Atlantis coils (with the sub ohm availability).

Ahem--they were released at the same time. :D And Kanger's Sub tank comes with an RBA option. Just saying.

I do hope your Aerotanks are all SS as "claimed".

I do too. And I will continue to do so--until proven otherwise. What else can we do? :)

Trust but verify. ;)

Ping-go, you're Provi is smarter than all of us, hon. That's one reason I can't go for the P3. I'm afraid I'd use up all my OWN points trying to figure out its!

Ok, so we're safe! As long as we want to vape pipe water...

Kat your a TI girl. Did I say that right? Anyway you can even vape industrial liquids with brass. Can it get any better.

Feel dumb because we used inaccurate descriptors? .... and say "AHEM" alot. :D

Ok, try this on fer size:

They look to be Kanger's synchronistically swimming and simultaneously created counterparts to the Atlantis coils (with the sub ohm availability).

Whew! I'm egg-zausted now. Is it nap time yet? :)

Most definitely. It's a sleepy cloudy day out there, Kat Darling.

Well, I am still waiting. I wonder how long it will be before Aspire makes an announcement on this? Will they come clean on this? Well, I am exploring other options. I just may get a Kayfun. At least then I will know what I am getting. Price is a huge obstacle. But it is better than money wasted on buying tons of bvc coils, in the long run. I love how the Mini works, but they aren't the only fish out in the sea. They better wake up and realize that.

They won't unless there public outcry that hurts their bottom line. I've been trying to get some answers from the company since August. If it bothers you, and you like Aspire products--please let the company know and ask for answers. And let your vendors know, too.

I've tried them all. Nada, zip, zero. But I'm but one person. If they get more complaints/questions, maybe they'll get motivated.

But to balance the scales (and for that reason alone), do we need REALLY worry about this as an issue? Or is it much more important than meets the eye... torn.

I strongly suspect...the former.

(I understand your perplexity. I was at a "Dangers of Global Warning" lecture last night...and the host kept going over to raise the thermostat because of the record LOW temperature outside.)

WAIT. That's it! One of you super dooper crazy talented modders...... can ya come up with a way that we can use the BVCs in a Kanger ALL stainless steel tank??

How about the Anyvape Peakomizer?

Stainless steel, pyrex and...can use the Aspire (Non-Nautilus) BVC coils.

(But you may want to wait until the Version 2 [which they just came out with] becomes available. The Version 1 [allegedly] leaked frequently.)

D'git rain, dear one? It's threatening here, but so far, nary a droplet. Someone PLEASE do a Kali rain dance!

gerrymi.....I'm just really just beginning to wonder about our gear and its material content. I suppose many vendors will soon start receiving inquiries about the materials used in what they sell. I do hope that the Anyvapes are what they say they are. :) I have liked their products in the past. A golden Davide has been on my wish list for awhile.

This is nothing more more than a copy and paste from the manufacturers webpage.
The blind leading the blind.
These jobbers need to know more about what they are selling. The wording is very open ended. Is it 100% stainless ? Is part stainless ?
They may have spend a few bucks but that's the cost of doing business.
I'm sure they aren't making much on many of these items but these items are what is driving traffic to their sites.

Brass is definitely a concern. I like my Nautilus as well as the next person. Now, I'm wondering about Kanger tanks, also. I'm hoping my EHPro Kayfun 3.1 is really SS throughout.

That said, we've used chrome plated brass for decades in water fixtures, musical instruments, whistles, and numerous other items we put in our mouths.

The real danger is when verdigris forms. If you see greenish tints, stop using it.

Another frustration I've found is that you can't always use a magnet to detect stainless steel from coated/chromed brass, although SS looks different from most chrome anyway. When they add nickel to steel to give it stainless properties that alters the properties of the steel and renders it non-magnetic. My Kayfun doesn't even attract very well even to neodymium magnets. Parts of it have a weak attraction.

Is stainless steel magnetic? Does it depend on the amount of chromium, or nickel alloy?

Thank you for the contact info! I have 3 Naughty Minis & 2 iSticks, along with a few Aspire ET-S clearos and have been loving them all. However I do not love "shady" vendors. Not putting away my Naughtys just yet but am seeking other options & definitely going to reach out to Aspire.
