Thank you for saying some answers are unknown instead of giving broad generalizations or saying to go read the bible.

It still sounds like one of those circular things that "If you already know, we don't have to tell you. If you don't know yet, we can't tell you".

Why isn't the most powerful force more straight forward. Why all the cloak and secrecy stuff? That darn Adam!

I wish you the best on your journey also!

Satan actually serves a purpose for now, to separate the wheat from the chaff. Sure, there are atheists and others that do "good works", but that's not the point. There will be no forgiveness for their sins because they reject the messiah, the very one, the only one, who has the power to forgive their sins. So they will be judged for their sins, and that's what will condemn them.

Chaff? Is that what god considers people? What about all men being god's children as stated above?

You never answered my question about being able to identify people on the street as agents of the devil by asking if they follow Jesus.

What if someone like the Dalai Lama lived a perfect life and committed no sins and therefore didn't need forgiveness?

Why is god so P.O.'d about Adam that he still punishes us all the time? I mean get over it already!... just sayin'

If you have accepted Jesus as your personal savior, and you follow Him, you will also do the things listed above as a result. :) It does not mean that you will be perfect, but you will try to follow the perfect example that Jesus showed us.

It would appear though that I can accept Jesus as my personal savior right at the very end.. or as close to it as I can calculate. It's the cake, and I get to eat it too. Tres Kewl.

It's a secret!
I'm not getting the impression here that you guys are actually interested in an exchange of ideas or learning anything from the Christian standpoint.

I went back to the first post in this thread, nobody called anybody satan worshipers. But the Bible does. It's been demonstrated in this thread. If you don't like it, take it up with God. Your quarrel is with him, not us.

Cause it seems that you're not believers based upon things you have said. Yet, you seem to be offended by what the Bible says about you. For non-believers, the Bible is a book of fairtytales. Would you be offended if someone said you guys served the Wicked Witch?

Why are you offended by something in which you do not believe?

I asked where specifically in the bible it said all nonbelievers are satan worshipers. I used the search tool that was provided and I couldn't come up with anything like that.

I'm not offended by what any book may or may not say about me. I'm sure there are plenty who would be offended to be called satan worshipers by a person based on what a book said w/o regard for their actions or beliefs.

You could, but Jesus would know that you're planning that, which would be questionable. Do you really want to take that kind of chance?

There was only one who lived on earth who was free of sin, and that was Jesus Christ. All others have sinned, and apart from Jesus there is no forgiveness for sins. He is the only key to salvation.

Those exact words were not used, but many scripture references have been given that support this position. It is up to the reader to discern. If you are sincerely seeking, you will find. If you're just looking for entertainment or justification for your own beliefs, you will not find.

Jesus said "let him who has ears hear". He also said that many in this world would be blind and not be able to see because their hearts have been hardened. If you are searching for God with a sincere and humble heart, pray to Him to reveal Himself to you through His book the Bible. Start to study it, pray and ask for understanding. If your heart is in the right place, He will answer you.

The inherent problem is in the mis-communication. The Bible does not say that unbelievers are Satan worshipers. Jesus does say "no one comes to the Father but by Me". In the context of the statement it is clear that "believers on Jesus" will be with the Father. Others will be elsewhere. To worship God is to do His will. Can the same be said of Satan? Yes it can. So whether one professes to follow/worship Satan or not is quite irrelevant. It is a matter of heart. Jesus boiled the issue down to making a choice. He also made it clear that if one refuses to make a choice..then they have indeed made a choice.

Logical options are:

A: Worship God
B: Worship Satan
C: Worship None of the Above

And based on what I've read here, it's not the Bible that has removed Option C, it is some of the readers on this forum and what they have decided to "discern". And those readers have therefore decided to label me and scores of others as "Satan Worshipers". That is their decision, not an absolute that "comes from God or the Bible".

Gee.... ya think that maybe millions of people might be mildly offended by that?

Actually no. The Bible does not give 3 options...only 2. The third option is derived from somewhere else.

You guys need to get together and make up your collective minds if you are going to show a unified front.

It is either/or. You are a free moral agent to do as you wish. The nonsense of labeling is just that...nonsense. The Bible (providing one believes it to be the word of God) is clear. There are no three options of which to choose. Biblically to choose option (C) is to actually choose option (B). Again the question arises as to what is worship? Worship is to serve and do another's will. If one is not serving option (A) the rest is irrelevant.

I'd say that's about it summed up in a nut shell! :)

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that Jesus is on His way and coming soon? I mean really soon?????? Call me crazy........I don't know, I just feel it in my gut these days.

No, you've hit the nail right on the head! The book of Revelation says it most clearly;

Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. - Rev 12:12

So this is the 'queue' for what up - (blaspheming of God) God says;

He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. - Revelation 13:6

and (trumpet roll needed here) his end shall be this!!!

The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. - Rev 12:9

Oh! I forgot to state 'why' Satan is so ticked off:

And the devil that deceived them (wonder 'who' them is?) was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Rev: 20:10 (note the scripture number Lisa.... 2010!)

'This' is exactly why he (and his followers) are behaving in particularly bad form...

I'm going to quote this post from page two so you guys can, once again, say with a straight face that you have not been presented with, or cannot locate, direct quotes from the bible that make our point.

This is my last post on the topic because you're not interested in having a discussion. You're just wanting to stir stuff up.

John 8

8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Matthew 13:38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one,

Acts 13:10 "You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?

1 John 3:8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 John 3:10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.

I think you might be right about that! I really feel it tho, strong, like He's just around the corner. Do you feel it too? I was thinking maybe it's my own imagination or wishful thinking maybe. :):)
