For some it is indeed difficult to get the right amount of cotton to use, now I was thinking and heard about Candle Cotton, I never tried myself before, but maybe someone else tried before or still having this into the Diver V2 and if is, does this work well?

This set contains for example 2mm/3mm and 4.2mm Candle Cotton wick:

Received my ELA V2 in today and looks really nice with the EVIVA.

Anyone else experience this? If I let my Eviva-T run too low with e-juice, just before one would expect to be getting dry hits, it starts leasking. Weird. I think it must have something to do with the air pressure changing somehow when the juice gets too low.

I haven't experienced this with my EVIVA and I've run through a full tank a number of times. Possibly you don't have enough wick blocking the juice channel?

I have not seen this. Mine just vvvveeerrrryyy slowly loses flavor as it goes dry, giving me plenty of warning to refill.

Does it leak from the airholes? I can't imagine juice coming out the bottom on the Eviva.

I don't have an Eviva, so I can't say. But I know that my diver2 inside the Billet Box will start to gurgle and leak when the juice level gets low. IMO this is due to the air inside the tank getting heated up more as the juice level falls. When the tank is full of juice, heat from the coil is mostly absorbed by the liquid. But when the juice is low, there is less liquid to act as a heat sink. Also, more air is in contact with the hot metal body of the diver. Trapped air inside the tank gets very hot and expands, pushing juice into the diver feed slots.

I tried to test this theory by setting my BB down with the vent holes up when I'm not vaping. In this position, the diver inside is mostly above the juice level, giving the trapped air inside the tank a place to escape to as it is heated and expands. This is working very well and I've run six to eight tanks through without a single gurgle or leak.

Folks have issues in the BB tank with pretty much any atty. And the same atty in a normal tank does not have the same issue.

My take is that this hot expanding air affects the BB tank because of the shape of the tank. In a regular tube tank, the atty is equidistant from the walls of the tank at all points. With the BB tank, the distance between atty and tank varies due to the rectangular shape. Thus, the downward pressure on the juice will change as you travel further out form the atty toward the tank walls.

I suspect it isn't so much a build-up of pressure as it is a wider variation in pressure over short periods of time. This makes the BB tank more susceptible to this phenomenon.

If I am right, redesigning the BB tank (and the BB) so that the atty is placed in the exact center of the tank would make this issue go away.

And, FWIW, folks have experienced these issues with pretty much every type of insert - carto, Divers, etc.
