I had a diver collecting dust in one of my vape drawers, and I was bored tonight, so I thought I'd give my neglected diver a second chance.

Fiddling with non resistance and resistance wire really wasn't my thing, but I found a really easy way to wrap a coil using a zapper I had ordered a while back , and now I'm probably going to end up selling my kayfuns and everything else I own and picking up a few more divers.

The only tank I own is a IBTank, so I'm gonna have to pick up some more tanks too.

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. lol

One of my KayFun Lite's is currently up for trade in the classifies. I am wanting to trade it for....... Yup, another Diver! If I can swing a trade it will be my 3rd Diver!

I'd trade my new diver (and my IBTanked tank with extra tubes) in a hot minute for another KFL. Res/non res just isn't my thing. But I don't do much trading at all, so I never bothered getting set up with the classifieds....

It's against ECF rules to trade outside of the classifieds.. But I would not trade for an IBTanked anyway..

And I think I just landed my 3rd Diver via my classified post!

I have five Divers and they are all happily in 22mm standard OCD tanks. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Well after hours of trying different builds....I think I have this Diver licked. 30 gauge Silver, 30 gauge Kanthal, 3/2 wrap metered out to .74 ohms. Been chainvaping it for a while now. No leaking and no dry hits. The draw is a little tight for me, but still loving it. I think the thing that made the difference in the wicking was the use of the organic cotton.

Hi there strprswpr, thanks for the pix. Tried the cotton ball as wick on mine and it's hitting great! 0.8ohm micro coils. So far no gurgling and flooding.

I need to start rebuilding. I'm running out of premades I bought.

What gauge kanthal and mm ekowool or german silica have you guys found works best? I tend to vape at 2.4 ohms/3.9 volts if that matters.

I've toyed with other RBAs and have watched a lot of vids on rebuilding these types of cups, so I'm not too worried about successfully rebuilding.. Just need to know what to buy

At 1st I was using regular resistance 30g kanthal with 2mm ekowool and I was not having any issues..

Now I am using 30g kanthal resistance with 30g silver non resistance wire and 2mm ekowool for when I use the Diver in a tank..

When using the Diver with the Grail for dripping I am lazy and just use regular resistance 30g kanthal and 2mm ekowool ..

Where do you get the 2mm and nickle from? Since I've never seen eko in person I wanna make sure I get it from a good vendor

I know the manufacturer sells it but I want to try maybe a foot or two to begin with.

I buy bulk wick and wire on eBay too. I think that Temco is the best for all wire needs (inexpensive wire on spools) and I've been using The Mesh Company, even though they're in the UK, for Ekowool.

Hmm... Recoiled with 32AWG NR with cotton. Gurgling has lessen a lot but still present if the condition is right. Seems like sudden change of temperature is causing the slight flooding. Center post have a slight moist to it.

Quoting myself for sadness.... No deliveries today and one package is on a tour of the USA according to USPS tracking.. Arrived in California (it's destination), then for some reason it left and arrived in Texas, left Texas and now it's in St. Louis..
