Sorry for quoting myself but a bit of an update to my original findings.

My 3rd Diver arrived and the 1st cup I used was a loose fit with the pin and it did leak. Grab another cup and the pin was a tight fit into the cup. I mean real tight! Not a single drop after a full tank..

Also, I do believe that the leaks are also cause during filling. The cup I used that didn't leak was fine through the 1st tank. And that tank was filled with a carto tool. When the tank ran dry I decided to fill up leaving the Diver in place since my SnP tank has the easy filling ports on top. Now the SnP is suppose to allow air to escape out of the 2nd hole while filling, thus not flooding the Diver.

Nope! I filled via the SnP top fill port and leak, leak, leak.... Removed all the juice, then the Diver sit for a few and refilled using the carto tool and the Diver air hole outside of the tank.. BINGO! No leaks, not even a drop!

So my conclusion is:

A) The pin must seat tightly into the ceramic cup. If it does not you will leak.
B) When filling, the Diver air hole should be outside of the tank.

I am NOT putting down the Diver, heck I have 3 of them now. I absolutely love the thing!

Maybe this will help some who are having leaks. When I have a tight fitting pin and I fill with the air hole outside of the tank I get zero leaks, not even a micro of a drop..

It was stated that when we fill the tanks with the Diver inside intact -- we need to "plug" the ends of the Diver while the juice flows into the tank/s. The top of the Diver should have the Cartodriver tool wedged-in, while we need to keep out thumb pressed against the bottom 510 post of the Diver.

That effectively stops the Diver getting flooded while inside the tank. I never, ever, had a flooded diver while filling the SnP thru it's fill-holes atop. Also, never filled my tanks beyond 4/5ths... that air-pocket inside the tank is of paramount importance for smooth wicking!

Yeah, I set up my new Kir Fanis Tripolitis the other day. Left the Diver open as I filled through the fill hole - and the Diver filled all the way to the top with juice! I haven't laughed like that in days.

This doesn't happen with the Scuba or the SnP.

I second only filling to 4/5ths of the tank. I filled my SnP almost to full yesterday, and the leaking was epic. This is particularly dumb on my part, as if I'm at home, filling is simple, and out of the house, I don't vape enough to have to worry about running out if the tank leaves the house with a decent amount of juice - and I always have at least two tanks with me for variety.

I'm playing around with twisting the NR end that goes into the bottom of the ceramic, as per Konstantinos' suggestion, to minimize or eliminate leaking. It is a bit early for conclusions, but my Tripolitis and Scuba with Divers seem to be functioning well so far.

I'll try to post some pictures this week, to show what I'm doing. Short version: instead of inserting the NR end directly into the bottom of the ceramic in a straight line, I leave it a bit longer, and loop it around the ceramic to the other side and insert. So the NR wire exits through the tiny hole in the bottom, turns and spirals so it ends up meeting the bottom edge of the ceramic directly below the second wire hole in the ceramic.

I will give this a try in a few as my tank is low.. I never fill it all the way up so that was not the issue.

My big ole' thumb will be on the bottom during the next fill up!

I must have missed that in the thread so thank you for posting it again! :)

Hi Konstantinos, I sent you a PM yesterday... can't log-on to your site... pls check.

It is because I have to take my Diver for diving for some days as you see in the pic above.
We will open again 26-08.

Happy diving everyone.
PS. where is Andy?

I shouldn't have to take these steps for filling with my scuba tank im assuming? hope not ;)

Nope, my SnP and Scuba do not need this. Just pop the port cover off and fill. Only conventional tanks with a single top-mounted fill hole need this. Scuba is bottom-mounted, and SnP has two holes, so air pressure escapes from the other hole as you fill.

For the Scuba, make sure the juice hole and the fill hole are lined up.

(Jesus, people probably think I work for Atmistique at this point)

I didn't realize the SnP had dual fill holes, cool! I'll remember that, they're a nice looking tank!!!

No dice!

Slight leaking out the bottom after filling using this method..

Drained and filled with the Diver air hole back outside the tank = Not a drop!

Any ideas? The SnP carto tool on top, my big ole thumb on the bottom (pin area), fill via SnP top port and I had 'slight' leaking.

It's no big deal really as filling with the carto tool and air hole outside the tank is easy-peasy..
