a sticky with "driver tips" might be nice, or is there one already?

It's really a very simple and easy to use device..

The only tips I really can offer is what I already posted.

Make sure the pin sits firmly into the cup. It should be a tight fit and I mean tight. If it's not a tight fit, try a different cup.

If you get leaks after filling then fill with a carto tool and the juice hole outside of the tank.

The Diver is an awesome and very easy to setup and use RBA..

OK, probably get in trouble for mentioning this, but you should see a one-stop page for such information in the fall. Hint: after the European August Beachopalooza. In the meantime, there's a bunch of us in this thread who can't seem to shut up, and we are the olds, so we like to repeat ourselves.

We have 3 Provari's. My flanged diver works on two of them but I'm getting OP error code on one. I'm assuming this is from the pin on my provari being a little further in than the other two. (I also had an issue with this same provari having zero airflow with a vivi nova). I wonder if a Hippo would fix this? I have 510 extenders but they are tacky.

Other than that. I want need another diver! I wanna get my boyfriend set up with one for his second setup :)

Hoping some of the veterans here can help me out. I have two divers, one is fine.

The other, however, is seriously leak prone. From what i can tell from comparing the two, the leaky one has a slightly shorter or compressed (0.5mm or less) plastic/delrin/rubber insert vs the good one.

I discovered the gap when I inserted the ceramic cup and the brass pin with no wire and found i could shift the base up and down with one hand and pinching the cup/pin in the other. This of course means that even if the the cup rests directly on the shoulders of the brass pin, there is a nice gap all round to let juice flow by.

Any thoughts or fixes?

thanks,
chris

Got my pre-made coils today from Stormy's Vapor Cellar and whipped up a quick double wrap of 2mm wick making sure to line up the wicks so they didn't get near the hole in the chimney. Placed the center pin in the base of the diver and pressed the cup down nice and firm. Placed it in the SnP tank, thumb on the bottom of the diver and filled the tank. I set it aside for a few minutes to see what would happen and an nice puddle of ejuice was formed within 30 seconds!!!!!!

Could this simply be a bad diver as I have tried four different cups, wicks, configurations all with the same result. I'm beginning to think the Diver just isn't for me :(

I have to fill my SnP with the Diver juice hole outside of the tank or I get leaks as well..

Use the carto tool and slide the Diver out a little (enough to get the juice hole outside the SnP) then fill, slide Diver back into tank and close SnP air holes..

Works for me every time and no leaks

If i have a case with a wider bottom hole of the ceramic i use 2 methods.

assume we made the resistance and put it in the ceramic. It should look like this

20130823_220045.jpg
i cut a piece of non-wire from the one that goes up and i bend it as you see
20130823_220133.jpg

and then i put it in the bottom of the ceramic.

Hope i helped.:)
