I never was a cartomizer guy. Years ago i tried the KR808 and didnt enjoy the tarin spin... I received today (after a long process of emailing a vendor in Spain) my Scuba tank. I had my Diver resting and waiting for the Scuba. I have no other tanks...so i waited...waited. In the meantime i got back on ECF and read all the pages on this topic. I feared (still do) the gurgles and the flooding. But hoped every trick and tip would allow me to set the Diver well and start scuba diving.

I've been vaping for an hour now: had a really bad start. Lots of gurgles at first,,,and then: major flooding! juice was pouring. It was then that i noticed i had not placed the little scuba plug! Had the diver drained , plugged the scuba and it has been vape heaven for the last hour. Hope it stays this way.

To Konstantinos:

Thank my my Greek friend, from the guy where Amália Rodrigues was born :)

buergermeester: there are other much better than me for these jobs :)

Felix1220: you talk about your English which is great. I torture all our friends here with my lets say...English many months ago. I want to ask again from all of you sorry for that but you cant say...I try

Portguy: :) yes Amalia Rodriquez how can i forget both of you? glad to see you here my friend. For any question you have, me and all the people here are always ready to help, as you already see.

Finagle69: hope end of this week will be ready for starting

Many thanks again for your words, I hope the Diver v2 touch your expectations

Hey 'K', will the v2 be wicked & coiled this way?
Diver, S-setup.jpg

I'm looking forward to the 'straight' tube with 'coned' internals as you well know ;)

After a little more than 24 hours of exclusive use of the Diver and Scuba: no leaks at all on the center pin. I didnt use pre made coil. As with all my rebuildables i like to start from scratch. Made a 1.8 ohm coil using 2 strands of 2mm sillica wick and 32 g wires, res and non res. After 24 hours i can say this atty is a pure performer. I have now found out that with this setup the diver and scuba have a sweet spot that allows a full on non stop vape. Dont fill the scuba more than 4 fifths of its capacity, doing so i tend to get dry hits. On the other end if i vape the last 1 fifth of the tank i get gurgles. In between these marks the pressure is perfect and allows a full vape.

Another great thing about the diver: battery life... i vape almost on VV devices and always around 1.8 to 2.2 ohm coils. I am a genesis guy. Both the band and the atty. On the go i use evods or vivis with a twist battery or whatever i grab. At home or office i stick to bigger battery mods. On a RSST i vape at around 4.2 volts. Same thing on a RDA. Now...with the Diver i have to drop the voltage to 3.6 volts for the same ohm setup. The diver is very efficient at delivering power and heat to the coil.

I am very impressed and will get the V2 without any doubt.

We listen... Diver V2

It's been nearly seven months since the release of Diver, our first project in manufacturing atomizers. On this occasion we would like to thank you for your confidence and above all for your useful comments you shared with us, in order to make it even better.

All this time we collected your suggestions and from late August we started designing the new Diver. Head of the project is Tasos (TasosVaps) using the successful implementation of John (Craven). Our main goal was to improve the liquid feeding and simplify the setup by retaining and even improving the performance of the first version, while striving to achieve an affordable final cost.

So we raised the base, putting the wicks inside the liquid while retaining the side feeding of liquid. The pin of center pole is held by two o-rings, replacing the two acetal pieces of the first Diver. Finally, adopting the bell type tube philosophy of our beloved IATTY atomizer, we changed the interior design of the tube.

So Diver V2:
• Is - like the first Diver- made from stainless steel type AISI 304L and the tube is now one piece (including the threads)
• Gives a steady supply of liquid without additional settings at all levels of the tank
• The set-up is done very easily, without the need for measurements
• Has a better seal thanks to the two o-rings of the base
• Provides optimum taste and vapor density, thanks to «IATTY like» tube.
• Is able to be configured by the user, choosing between:
o Stainless steel or brass pole
o Base with or without flange
o Tube 35,5 mm, 45,5 mm, Grail (for conversion to dripping RBA) and a special edition in 35,5 mm (extra tubes may be purchased separately)
o Combination of the above will provide a BilletBox version.

Finally, we would like to thank Thanasis (Imeo) for the concession to use his original ideas and Matthew and Anne from the Billet Box for their kind cooperation.

Happy Diving
The Atmistique team

Another update:

I finally got my SS tube for my SnP. I yanked a Diver from my Kir Fanis tank. In the Kir Fanis, the Diver was showing zero leaks and zero condensation through multiple tanks, and I was filling it to 100% and vaping it to empty. No dry hits, no gurgling, flawless vape every single drag from the first to empty.

Without rebuilding the Diver, after about 3 tanks in the Kir Fanis, I installed in the SnP and filled with the same juice. Alas, the SnP, unlike the Kir Fanis, unlike the Scuba, and unlike the Phiniac Phinique, did leak after I filled it, and gurgled after it sat for a while.

Therefore, this setup I portrayed earlier in the thread will resolve all leaking and gurgling in any of my tanks except the SnP.

Of course, this just means my SnP will house my Killer (which doesn't leak, but is a royal pain, since you have to adjust the juice flow mid-tank, and have to take apart the tank to remove) until I get my first Diver v2.

Overall, this build is a great success, and has become my permanent setup for the Diver in all 3 of those tanks where it works perfectly.

I think there is a problem with some of the SnP's as two of my three leak like no tomorrow. The common thing is when the top cap is screwed down it hits metal and not the oring, which messes with the tank pressure (or lack of). It isn't just the diver that leaks, it leaks with standard cartos.

Perseas sent me a replacement and it does the same thing.

I have both 22 and 23mm SnP tanks and they do not leak. Using stock dark brown-ish color o-ring out the outside. Using both black o-rings inside the bottom tank and a single red o-ring on inside the top tank (for Sophia) without any issue. I run Sophia in one and Diver in the other one. After changing Diver setup for micro coil and cotton ball wick (wrapped around the ceramic), no leaks.

Only time I had a leak was when I forgot one of the tiny o-ring that goes on the filler hole. Sealing the filling holes is only major difference from other tanks as far as I can tell and important part of the vacuum process as I found out. I now make sure I have the o-rings here and the top is screwed down tight.
